There is still the preconception that Scouts is sissy and we do all that churchy stuff, chop down trees and burn everything. Far from it, its about learning life skills and although not every single thing you do is awe inspiring (map reading for example) its about how its presented. The kids in my troop are amazing, a good laff and up for pretty much anything. Some of the things the troop have had the opportunity to do many kids dont get that chance. What else would you do? exactly!
