lol wtf is cabal and legion? man i guess i should pay more attention to the history of the game but then agian i dont have the expansion yet and its bin a very very loong time since tiberian sun i never heard of cabal or legion anyone knows? :P
@gkaldh I started with C&C 1: Tiberian Dawn, continued through Tiberian Sun, all with datadiscs and ended here, so I know the lore :3 In C&C 1 Nod had EVA unit as well as GDI, because there were some rebel UN states who supported Nod instead of GDI and shared the technology, in TS Kane created AI named CABAL and gave it some of his thoughts as well as the ability to learn on his own, in the Firestorm datadisk Kane is believed to be dead (again) CABAL attacks both, fractured Nod and GDI
@gkaldh Nod is in chaos, noone believes that Kane lives, but CABAL's attacks on mutant Tratos (The only one who can translate the Tacitus except CABAL and Kane himself, it is an artefact that kane has made at the end of 1st game and holds magnificent power unknown to player, Kane now wants it back and does not want anyone to solve it) and another commands that CABAL does (according to Anton Slavick, chief of Nod Black Hand) mean betrayal of the brotherhood, so they want to destroy CABAL
@gkaldh CABAL is finally destroyed (whether u play GDI or Nod they always have temporary alliance cause CABAL's cyborgs are too strong) and everyone believes that Kane is dead and CABAL destroyed, but Kane is not dead as seen in this movies and is hiding somewhere safely, CABAL is destroyed, but some of his memories (I think most of them) are preserved and stored in LEGION, which is Kane's new invention, it's a cyborg-like or android-like life form with his own mind as well as Cabal's archive.

I don't think Legion is Cabal. I think bits and pieces of Cabal are in Legion as Kane says his memory lives on.
