Hey alishanmao which helicopter would be good for moving up from a eflite mcx. Should I still go with eflite and get a mcp-x. Or should I buy another brand that you think is good.
I have a Honey Bee FP V1 with 8.4V Ni-MH battery. I can fly around a bit but not very good to fly it yet. Can not fly with helikpoteret when the tail is pointing away from me if you know.
Now the engines are broken. I am considering buying Belp-CP v2, but it is very much harder to fly?
@thehindugod. Man, if u don't know what the toggles on the transmitter are for, then maybe you need a heli for someone less experienced. And as for not knowing where the battery goes?????? WTF! Are u serious??
The very first thing you do with this heli is get rid of the esky esc, it's rubbish! They overheat quickly and catch fire Mine caught fire after about ten flights, luckily I'd just landed it when it went bang so no crash damage to fix. Upgrade to a 30a esc and problem solved. Everyone I know who has these helis has had the same problem, without exception. I repeat, get rid of the standard esc immediately! Other than that it's a great heli.
@alishanmao I've not had a problem with the gyro apart from it occasionally being a bit slow to initialize on start up, oh hold on, I did have a bit of a problem when I first flew it, with it wagging its' tail a little bit but I fixed that by taking off the double sided tape it came with and replacing it with stronger and thinner tape which anchored it better to the heili and stopped it wobbling. A cheap 2 minute fix that made a lot of difference and stopped the tail wagging right away.
@alishanmao The only other things I have done to this heli is to upgrade the tail rotor box to an esky aluminium rotor box which has roughly doubled its' yaw rate and smoothed it out considerably and fitted carbon fiber blades all round which has woken the heli up. I have also fitted nav lights to it so I can fly it at night which is a lot of fun and looks cool.
@lerlo LOL man, do not go to sizes that ESKY has. ESKY has this crappiest idea in this world to call their helis 500 or 600. Their 600 Size heli is actually a 450 Size helicopter, 500 size = 400 and so on.
I wanna buy this helicopter from a guy who is selling it in my country. I got a 3 channelled helicopter but it is kinda messed up, so I wanted to move onto a 4 channelled one but I couldn't find any other helicopters besides this one here... so do you think I will just crash it..? How do you recommend I practice?
@GGames2009 You will definitely crash it on first try. You need to buy a good RC Simulator like Realflight G3.5 or G5 and practice. that is the only way
my friend wanted to fly my FP helicopter right away without knowing the controls i was like WTF he said letme figure it out, hahhaa this kid thinks that its easy to fly da mn kid crashed loooooooots of time in the simulator and wanted to fly my precious heli

M8 I know TREX450 are better. I am after a TREX500 Electric nowadays :) gotta haggle for stuff. Trying to take Align R600 Gyro as well :) then I can pick ESKY helis out of tail rotor after every flight LOL TREX Rocks. I wish I had money to buy TREX600 Nitro Pro :(
Nah, I am not that kind of man who will deny the truth. I love Align TREX too. I have flown a TREX600 Nitro Pro my friends heli and that big heli was even more stable than a Coaxial. Thats the thing took my heart. I am saving funds to get one :D soon. Keep in touch. but till then to polish up my skills, ESKY El Cheapos are doing a good job :D parts are cheap, helis are cheap hehehe, Crash a TREX and you are bankrupt heheheh
Well mate, now I have two TREX Clones. Drago 500 and Drago450SE V2 thats what I call them. Check the vids. They are 200% better when flying even in hard windy days. And they are so smooth for doing Aerobatics ;D
Actually that last is not true. Align CNC head and tail parts are very strong and usually survive a crash. Blades, main shafts, spindle shafts, etc. are very reasonable.
Well said, but if they did not survive then its total expensive stuff. thanks to Chinese people now there are TREX clones with cheaper parts. Check out my new Drago450SE V2 videos.
My Align head parts have been (ahem!) extensively crash-tested... ;) I have a few CopterX heads and a CF airframe, waiting for electronic components. I will look at your Dragonus videos; everyone that has one likes it as far as I can tell.
No worries he is blocked forever. He can watch all the vids but no matter how much he wants to write a comment he is banned lol. Well congrats, thats a good heli. Its RTR right outside box, but you should check for main blade balance. hold it in hands get it full throttle and see if the blades are sync and balanced. before going idle up make sure gyro gain is set right. idle on and do full + and - pitch up n down to check tail holds right. then go bash it in air lol :)
Gyro Gain can be set using gyro gain knob on your radio. It increases or decreases the gyro sensitivity. If during flight heli tail wags left and right, decrease the gyro gain, if tail is not easy to control, increase the gyro gain. If need more fine tuning, you can tune gyro using gyro knobs but don't mess with them now. + n - on idle up. my belt cp v2 tilts backwards and to the left when it flies and its so hard to do anything. one of the servos werent 90 degrees (shouldnt they all be?) and i tried to adjust it and it doesnt work and now im all confused could you please try and help
i did but it still swervs backwards and to the left. i adjusted the servos by unscrewing on adjusting it then putting it back so the plate that tilts looks flat but it still seems to do this the i realised my gyro wasnt on so i though i had screwed the system up and the gyro didnt know so in did it again with the gyro on but still. and what does the pitch knob do ( not the problem i leave it in the halfway position.
Hey alishanmao! how come on most RC hobby websites they put the actual sale price. then on top of that they put a ''retail price'' thats like 5 times the actual price? is it for marketing reasons? haha it makes me kinda laugh :)
@dieharddirtbikerida means the retail price shows how much the product is actually worth but they are selling it cheaper to you hehehh maybe. who knows its all marketing stuff. the way to get customers
nice unboxning but the t zips it is zip ties thats what iv always heard and its a 450 size not 600 but other then that how is it? can i put a trex head and tail on it ?
Thanks, I know its 450, its just that ESKY has strange ways to number their helis LOL I don't think you can put a TREX head or tail on it. If you wanna get a TREX Parts Compatible Heli, Get ACME Shadow. Check videos that Heli is 100% better than ESK
just a question although i have a belt cp v2 but i cant find its flight time or range on it i think its 15 minutes flight time but i couldnt find it in the manual could you help
Hey, would you consider creating a "how to" video for setting up the Belt CP V2 right from the package. I just got mine and am a little overwhelmed with how "high-tech" this machine actually is. Im sure I am not the only one who would be grateful either. Cheers!
Too late man. There is nothing much. In fact watch all Belt CP V2 videos and I have shown you how to do that. Preparing helis before flight, thats the video you should look for
i didnt get a tube for the antenna and cannot find the antenna if its coming out the back because their is something then its only an inch long and i dont know what to do
why do you need to start off with the Lama or a 4-channel first? I've just bought this as my first heli, havent used it yet though. I'm just gonna take it slow to start off with so I get used to it.
I didnt want to waste £100 on a Lama only to get bored of it in a couple of days and want to step up to this bad boy.
yeah cheers thats what i'm planning on doing. and of course running the simulator too.
threres another video on here telling you to replace the speed controller as soon as you get it, with a better one, because the one it comes with is not good enough. Do you know this to be true?
Ali, just bought a CP V2. I've tried everythig but can't get the blades to move. Everything else works but when I push the throttle...nothing. I have calibrated. Any thoughts.
Check all switches. make sure 3D Switch is not on when connecting the battery. Turn on the radio first, make sure 3D Switch is on normal flight. and the throttle stick is to lowest. Then connect battery n check. if this doesn;t work check the cables connecting to motor from ESC. see if they are well connected, not loose.
Belt CP V2. Bigger is better :) if you wanna get something that is easy to afford and flies real well. this is the heli, but if you want some long term investment go for something with Metal parts.
i cannot really tell the difference because one of my planes say 72 MHZ and the heli says 2.4 GHZ and i cant really tell what that really means i know their frequencies of course but the difference is what im worried about
72MHz is old school now. 2.4G is totally new technology for frequencies where you don't have to worry about other pilots and their radios or any frequencies clashing. No glitches, more range, better power consumption on radio.
Is the manual really ''beautiful'' and ''**vel** written''? I think not... The English used in the manual is very poor. I don't understand why the manufacturer doesn't hire someone with decent English skills to work on the Chinenglish language used. It wouldn't cost that much... And WORSE, there are technical errors in the manual. It's a pity, the heli is not bad for the price...
Thanks for pointing it out. I know I know heheheh but my man, that is why they hired me. When I move to my job location in June and start working with them, the first thing I will do is to get rid of Chinglish from these manuals and remove those technical errors. that is part of my job. for now, I have seen worst ones trust me my man. this one is much much better :D
Just at comment, why do you say it's a 600 serie? The numbers250, 350, 450, 500, 600 etc., normally refer to a size clasification and if I remember right the Belt CP is in the 450 size, like TREX 450, Honey Bee King II etc.
Of course I could be wrong, but I just bought a Belt CP last weekend and the manual doesn't mention anything about size 600.
well cuz thats what company is calling them 600 series. In fact this one is 450 Size you are right my man. so don't get confused by these numbers. Check the new video I put up the Shadow Metal heli which is 450 and is same size as belt CPV2.
It's just the beginning mate. I don't have to buy any helis now. I work for Hobby E store now and I will test fly all the new brands and new models and will bring you only the best of helis. I will make sure to keep the crap away from all my viewers and hobby lovers.
Its just the beginning mate. I now work for rctoyhouse and hobby estore. I don't have to buy any helis. I will test fly all new models and new brands. I will introduce new great RC planes n helis to you and will make sure that I keep the crap away from all RC Lovers n my viewers. Cheers
i really want to get a Belt CP (the first version). Since i dont have much helicopter experience, would it be a good heli to start out with? I figured that if i start with it then I could be able to do much more with it when i get more experienced, but I need some advice. so is it a good idea? thanks!
I'd say go for V2. This one flew so awesome. we flew it yesterday. Plus the parts are cheaper and easy to find (ESky will not manufacture parts for older models so much) and this one can use some of TREX parts too, so upgrades or repairs are real good. This one is one real sweet 3D Baby. Waiting until Chinese government un blocks youtube, then I can upload videos. right now replying with proxies :(
you see im a beginner. the only helis that I have ever flown are on the simulator, and my Eflite Blade MCX (a small coaxial helicopter.) because of this I don't think I should get such an advanced helicopter as the V2. is this helicopter stable and easy to fly? thanks!
This one is much easier to fly and more in control compared to small Honey King 3. Much more stable in windy days too. n parts are available easily. I'd say go for it.
Hi Ali,Now i like that 600 one a lot better mate it's a colour thing with me my friend lol,if i want a plane or heli and i don't like the colour i wont get it lol,no flying this week for me mate as we have winds of 25-30 plus and now it's raining too (he says as he starts to cry) look forward to the flights my man and five stars as always.
well wishing you all the best. My Vids will be up as soon as youtube is unblocked. This is 218th Time they blocked youtube. I modified my this comment, don't want them to block my whole channel lol. Sure helis flew well. whats up with your Falcon Gyro or settings? you mentioned it in another comment. drop me a mail bout it. I love China LOL.
Just finished checking out your King video and now I find that you did one on the Belt CP...Ok, now I'm really really jealous of you...LOL..you should adopt me so I can fly your heli's...lol.
Good video mate and remember to HURRY UP with the flying videos...yeah yeah, I'm being pushy..lol
do you like planes better then helicopters or the other way round because ive seen some really nice jets and helis youve posted and you seem to like both
Is this guy retarded? He repeats himself like, 800 times, and this thing is a 450 series.

nice unboxning but the t zips it is zip ties thats what iv always heard and its a 450 size not 600 but other then that how is it? can i put a trex head and tail on it ?
Nicolasr1 2 years ago
Thanks, I know its 450, its just that ESKY has strange ways to number their helis LOL I don't think you can put a TREX head or tail on it. If you wanna get a TREX Parts Compatible Heli, Get ACME Shadow. Check videos that Heli is 100% better than ESK

lol ok well thanks alot!

just a question although i have a belt cp v2 but i cant find its flight time or range on it i think its 15 minutes flight time but i couldnt find it in the manual could you help
blackhawk438 2 years ago
no need for Manual, it flies 5 minutes on one battery
alishanmao 2 years ago
Hey, would you consider creating a "how to" video for setting up the Belt CP V2 right from the package. I just got mine and am a little overwhelmed with how "high-tech" this machine actually is. Im sure I am not the only one who would be grateful either. Cheers!
brunohale 2 years ago
Too late man. There is nothing much. In fact watch all Belt CP V2 videos and I have shown you how to do that. Preparing helis before flight, thats the video you should look for
alishanmao 2 years ago
i didnt get a tube for the antenna and cannot find the antenna if its coming out the back because their is something then its only an inch long and i dont know what to do
blackhawk438 2 years ago
lol its not 600 size its 450..
amermustafa1 2 years ago
we all know that very well my man. ESKY has strange way of naming their helis and numbering them. Its just a 450 and HBK3 is a 350 to 400 size
alishanmao 2 years ago
why do you need to start off with the Lama or a 4-channel first? I've just bought this as my first heli, havent used it yet though. I'm just gonna take it slow to start off with so I get used to it.
I didnt want to waste £100 on a Lama only to get bored of it in a couple of days and want to step up to this bad boy.
jjl5590 2 years ago
You don't have to. Good luck with this one. take it easy and slow
alishanmao 2 years ago
yeah cheers thats what i'm planning on doing. and of course running the simulator too.
threres another video on here telling you to replace the speed controller as soon as you get it, with a better one, because the one it comes with is not good enough. Do you know this to be true?
Many thanks
jjl5590 2 years ago
well i had no troubles with Stock Setup. I still have got stock setup.

I cant find any 500 or 600 size of this heli...only 450 size of belt cp v2 and honey bee king 3
cooldragon224 2 years ago
500 or 600 Helis are more professional and are way too expensive.

As a begginner should I buy this helicopter? with a trainer frame on it?
smidge146 2 years ago
Yes, with Training gear its good for beginners. but if you have never flown a heli before, kindly get a Lama V4 coaxial heli first.
alishanmao 2 years ago
I have a walkera coaxle
smidge146 2 years ago
hey what if i had experience on 3channel helicopters and 2 channel helicopters should i buy this with training gear?BTW sweet vid.
YourFriendlyMe 2 years ago
No Sir. This is a 6 Channel Helicopter. If you can fly a 4 Channel Helicopter well, only then you can move to this one.
alishanmao 2 years ago
oh but is the 4#3B from walkera a good fixed pitch heli?
YourFriendlyMe 2 years ago
I would stay away from Walkera. They are terrible.
alishanmao 2 years ago
Ali, just bought a CP V2. I've tried everythig but can't get the blades to move. Everything else works but when I push the throttle...nothing. I have calibrated. Any thoughts.
Keast100 2 years ago
Check all switches. make sure 3D Switch is not on when connecting the battery. Turn on the radio first, make sure 3D Switch is on normal flight. and the throttle stick is to lowest. Then connect battery n check. if this doesn;t work check the cables connecting to motor from ESC. see if they are well connected, not loose.

When you say "belt cp v2 600" is that the same or simlar size to say a trex 600???
Ruckerjd01283 2 years ago
No my man, its just that its a 450 Series heli, as big as TREX 450
alishanmao 2 years ago
ok mate cheers

i decide to buy the belt cp v2, but i have al little question....
can i use belt cp upgrades(alu/metal parts) on belt cp v2? cuz i cant find belt cp v2 upgrade parts
reaz09 2 years ago
Well I gotta confirm this with Esky, but pretty much everything is same you should be able to use metal upgrades.
alishanmao 2 years ago
you can buy the carbon edition on xheli ore the parts
vlinderbom2 2 years ago
Which do you prefer? King 3? or CP V2?
Im a beginner....but.. i plan to take this up as a serious hobby so i want something that will last me a while
Thanks!
BoYgAm3R 2 years ago
Belt CP V2. Bigger is better :) if you wanna get something that is easy to afford and flies real well. this is the heli, but if you want some long term investment go for something with Metal parts.
alishanmao 2 years ago
Ok . but the CP has metal upgrades doesnt it?..
and do you think its really worth the extra £30(about $45) for a 2.4GHz? or is old fashioned 35MHz fine?
BoYgAm3R 2 years ago
2.4G is preferred as you will have no worries of flying it even with other Rc pilots.
alishanmao 2 years ago
i cannot really tell the difference because one of my planes say 72 MHZ and the heli says 2.4 GHZ and i cant really tell what that really means i know their frequencies of course but the difference is what im worried about
blackhawk438 2 years ago
72MHz is old school now. 2.4G is totally new technology for frequencies where you don't have to worry about other pilots and their radios or any frequencies clashing. No glitches, more range, better power consumption on radio.
alishanmao 2 years ago
thanks

Is the manual really ''beautiful'' and ''**vel** written''? I think not... The English used in the manual is very poor. I don't understand why the manufacturer doesn't hire someone with decent English skills to work on the Chinenglish language used. It wouldn't cost that much... And WORSE, there are technical errors in the manual. It's a pity, the heli is not bad for the price...
lucianmp 2 years ago
Thanks for pointing it out. I know I know heheheh but my man, that is why they hired me. When I move to my job location in June and start working with them, the first thing I will do is to get rid of Chinglish from these manuals and remove those technical errors. that is part of my job. for now, I have seen worst ones trust me my man. this one is much much better :D

Hi Ali Shan Mao,
Just at comment, why do you say it's a 600 serie? The numbers250, 350, 450, 500, 600 etc., normally refer to a size clasification and if I remember right the Belt CP is in the 450 size, like TREX 450, Honey Bee King II etc.
Of course I could be wrong, but I just bought a Belt CP last weekend and the manual doesn't mention anything about size 600.
Very good presentation though :)
shkrebs 2 years ago
well cuz thats what company is calling them 600 series. In fact this one is 450 Size you are right my man. so don't get confused by these numbers. Check the new video I put up the Shadow Metal heli which is 450 and is same size as belt CPV2.

hey ali u shud buy a nitro or gas helicopter those things rock

why did the chinese goverment block youtube give me full details
jaden1592 2 years ago
Someone posted tibet incident support videos. China is so sensitive bout that. I am sure it will open up.
alishanmao 2 years ago
i really want to get a Belt CP (the first version). Since i dont have much helicopter experience, would it be a good heli to start out with? I figured that if i start with it then I could be able to do much more with it when i get more experienced, but I need some advice. so is it a good idea? thanks!
horizonflyer9 2 years ago
I'd say go for V2. This one flew so awesome. we flew it yesterday. Plus the parts are cheaper and easy to find (ESky will not manufacture parts for older models so much) and this one can use some of TREX parts too, so upgrades or repairs are real good. This one is one real sweet 3D Baby. Waiting until Chinese government un blocks youtube, then I can upload videos. right now replying with proxies :(
alishanmao 2 years ago
you see im a beginner. the only helis that I have ever flown are on the simulator, and my Eflite Blade MCX (a small coaxial helicopter.) because of this I don't think I should get such an advanced helicopter as the V2. is this helicopter stable and easy to fly? thanks!
horizonflyer9 2 years ago
This one is much easier to fly and more in control compared to small Honey King 3. Much more stable in windy days too. n parts are available easily. I'd say go for it.
alishanmao 2 years ago
Hi Ali,Now i like that 600 one a lot better mate it's a colour thing with me my friend lol,if i want a plane or heli and i don't like the colour i wont get it lol,no flying this week for me mate as we have winds of 25-30 plus and now it's raining too (he says as he starts to cry) look forward to the flights my man and five stars as always.

well wishing you all the best. My Vids will be up as soon as youtube is unblocked. This is 218th Time they blocked youtube. I modified my this comment, don't want them to block my whole channel lol.
