Damn I got a compilation record with Da Slyme, the Discords (first Monreal Skinhead band!), Red Squares, etc. It's called SMASH THE STATE fuckin' rare that I think. It comes with a booklet too. It's true that Canadian bands sound quite different from other punkrock bands throughout the world, they have their own unique sound.

These guys are from Newfoundland for those of you wondering. The bassist mixed the first demo of my old band.

And Canadian punk is one of the reasons there is good punk rock today, Da Slyme, from NFLD as well, were one of the first punk bands in canada and in the world for that matter, their record still sells for over $500 in auction. so SUCK IT
