  • Thanks for the info. I didn't watch the whole thing bc trying to listen to what you're saying over this repetitive music is irritating. I'd get rid of it.

  • @RyanStanberry ...yeah I stop doing it.

  • i have a question heses the situation we installed a firewall recently and it blocks most of my fav sites so i hook the fire wall up to a linksys router and all the other computers to the firewall except my computer which is the main computer i hooked that up directly to the router and i can browse any site i want problem is i have a shared folder on my computer that all the othe computers need to have access to but is not visible any more to them is there anything i can do abt that

  • i dnt see why you worry about your neighbors .. lets say i'm one of your neighbor it doesnt do any good if i can access to your printer even if i print the printer will be inside your house lol so.... whats the point of doing it ????

  • @r4c3r10970 ......if they can hack on network and use my printer they can also access my files too..... besides this not that big of a deal....I gotten 2 ppl that complain about it I just dont understand why u guys are complaining about this.. its irrelevant lol.....BTW I wasn't trying to be rude...

  • Hi puppa daddy James

For the love of god please get rid of that music.

    Otherwise good video.

  • @MrAppKing ...i dont have music on my newer video I stop doing that...

  • Why did you block your pc name? The only way to access that is by being on the same network, but you can't do any harm unless you've prepared for it. And if your wireless network is password protected, then you're 95% safe.

  • @ShrapmaElite yeah I know. I was just making sure just encase one of my neighbors see this video... it doesnt hurt to be safe...

  • @james25313 lol, well, that is true... and I do live in a neighborhood filled with wireless connections, and nearly everyone is password protected. I'm sure any one who doesn't have internet access would love to feast off of my network, lol.

  • nice video

  • @PoGixViRuS ...sorry can't help with mac don't know how

  • for some reason it doesnt work for me. it says" (PC name) is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource. contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions

  • Awsome Video, but one question. When i go to connect to the other computer and it asks for username and passowrd my main computer doesnt have a password on it.. but it still requires one what is the password?

  • 2 ways to solve this 1 go to network and sharing center then turn off password protected sharing off. if that don't work then just setup a password on ur main pc

  • I have a desktop with XP and a printer connected. I am trying to print to that printer from my Vista Home Premium laptop. Keep getting access denied even thought the workgroups is set up and I can see shared fiiles and the printer from my networked laptop. HELP.

  • did you try the thumb drive option that i suggest? thats how i got mine to work right.

  • OK, here is my problem. I have a new HP Vista laptop and an older HP desktop using XP. I have the workgroup set up right and all the computer names set up. I can see the desktop's printer but when I click connect, it give me Access Denied.

  • hey if you have vista home basic sometime it can be a b*tch to get it working right. try restarting ur pc. also if you have a thumb drive go to the xp computer and go to control panel then to network wizard setup and use the thumb drive(flash drive) option it will install the a setup config. and then stick it in the vista PC and then run the setup and then it should work. hope this helps.
