Ok guys, for y'all who don't know ... TOTP was an English chart show and 99% of the time, artists were told or not given the choice, to mime / lipsynch as they did several (and I mean several) takes. This was due to poor participation from the crowd (who may have been there 10+ hours), bad videotography or the artists themselves. Trust me, I'd been there numerous times and saw many artists have to mime through. Generally, TOTP is a lip synch stage.
ah the good ole 80s - before the industry was infected with cloned four / five group boy / girl bands (initially started by New Kids On The Block in 89), before the charts got littered with watered down R&B and shite hip hop (brought on by Justin Timerberlake), before the american invasion of the late 90s (Britney etc...) - when acts had an individual identity, instead of all looking the same...and music was actually fun.
Goddamn she was so young and cute. I remember her because she was the first celebrity I ever had a crush on ,back when I was 11 or 12.

@limewireomochao Everyone mimed on TOTP. There were some great moments when the artists wouln't hear the track or forgot to mime. Good old days.
