Again, that statement would make more sense if there seemed to be any "luck" or fluke involved. Despite the close score, LSU dominated most of the game.
How does lsu have homefield advantage at teh dome? Sure its closer but theres equal amounts of tickets for both teams, its not like we are intitled to more tickets just because were closer... Its not our fault the opposing team's crowds arent louder.
That is a hard statement to make, oujon. I give you that LSU was tiring late and OU hung in there, making a game that was, for the most part, a domination on the part of LSU into a close score and giving themselves achance to win. But if you watched the game, you know LSU handled them pretty soundly.
well lets see, if i remember correctly, the SEC championship LSU played against georgia was played in Atlanta, the same distance as baton rouge and new orleans, and lo and behold LSU still won pretty dominately if you ask me.
But Georgia is no Oklahoma...let me assure you. Oklahoma has the most wins since WWII, they have 7 National Championships, over 145 All Americans, and 41 Conference Championships....but anyways...yeah, you're crazy if you try to compare Georgia to Oklahoma
OU had 178 yards of offense that game... there really is not much else to say except that we were -1 in the turnover margin and lacked the high potent offense that OU had (we were the baltimore ravens that year, a suffocating defense and a reasonable offense) That is the only reason why you were in that game
LSU did have the best D in about 10-15 years in college football. OU did not have a great running game, remember we had to throw on every 3 & 4 down. We also had some injuries, Jason had broken bones in his feet. And turnovers are part of the game, we gave away two, would we have had 28 if not for that?
im afraid yaull did "boom" too soon. Trying to make an excuse doesnt fix anything. GEAUX TIGERS
