  • Are´nt ASUS from Taiwan?

Correct me if I´m wrong, but they don´t speak chinese in Taiwan.

  • Actually, they speak a derivative of Cantonese in Taiwan.

The issue of whether or not Taiwan is part of China remains, since the Republic of China contends that they are, though Taiwan Territories denies this and declares themselves their own country.

    Thus, the confusion.

  • @SoldierCLE

No derivative actually. THey speak full mandarin. but they write in the traditional chinese characters.

  • @The64BitGeek

they do. They speak the Mandarin Dialect and write in the traditional Chinese characters. They also have their own Taiwanese dialect which can be written in roman alphabet. But they official language of Taiwan is Mandarin
