The whole boy band parody works for about a half minute, until it runs dry and you wonder why that guy in the band has just flashed you his perfect six-pack abs about 50 times in the space of 5 milliseconds, not that i'm complaining! Ryan Starr, who's billed as the film's lead for some strange reason, almost destroys all of the film's credibility..when she's not mumbling through her lines, or kissing Shawn as if she were drinking battery acid, she looks awkward throughout the film.
