It always surprised me that we do not have many accurate painting prior to the beginning of 1500 Diego Velazquez like many of the great masters siezed on the technology of the day (Camera Obscura c1558) the standard of works from this time were fantastic - I feel Velazquez made great use of this in a variety of paintings. Dwarf etc.
Very well done. The picture of the gentleman at 0:29 looks so modern! And nice to see the last frame devoted to Venus and Cupid. Muy elegante! Gracias!
here are some of this: Fragua de vulcano, Aguador de sevilla, Vieja Friendo Huevos, Retrato de Felipe IV, Góngora, mito de aracne (hilanderas), los borrachos (baco), Papa Inocencio, meninas, venus en el espejo...
since when are "good videos" ones where someone just puts pictures and music?

Can anybody tell me why Diego V. often incorporates dwarves and midgets in his artwork?

He had an admiration for them, and saw them as real human beings rather then just sideshow freaks the way his royal patrons made them to be.

That gentleman was Luis de Góngora y Argote, one of the best Spanish writers ever.
