However, our body can not respond to the virus that fast so we might need to wait a bit (at least 6 weeks) before the antibody can be found after the infection. There is another test which can detect the virus 7 days after the infection. I guess it is the test that he took.

i dont have HIV, but i am Hep C+, so i do know how it is. I am a 23,female,and just finished my registered nursing program. You can live a normal life, you just have to be more careful with things like razors, forks, cuts, and sex obvs. I found someone thats been with me for 3 years now who is still Hep C-...had my 1st child this year, also negative. My ex had HIV and Hep, he died this year but didnt take care of himself. Take your meds, and you can live as long as the next guy. Good luck hun

It takes going the "extra step" to find, but I'm glad I've found a network of those who have been "positive" for a long time and not taking the "meds" which cause liver damage, bone damage and death which is not classified as "AIDS-related" (because it isn't, though it is related to the "meds"). Many "untreated" people (not those who continue unhealthy living, of course) live longer than those on "meds" (what a misleading term). At least learn more before encouraging others to "get tested".

i dont have HIV, but i am Hep C+, so i do know how it is. I am a 23,female,and just finished my registered nursing program. You can live a normal life, you just have to be more careful with things like razors, forks, cuts, and sex obvs. I found someone thats been with me for 3 years now who is still Hep C-...had my 1st child this year, also negative. As with Hep C HIV will have a viral load in your blood which can be analyzed through a simple test. I'm thinking within the box, you're thinking much too hard. Find a lab technician and ask him why ''viral load'' is not viral? Ask him why results need to be amplified by 60,000? Ask him why results are not reproducable? So I've online researching videos for my english class and this is one that I've stumbled across.Im researching HIV/AIDS and other opportunistic viruses so I can educate others of the virus.I was diapnosed 3 months ago and this is now playing a huge roll in my life. It's sad to say that Im here in a school library tearing up at this video but its the truth. Im so sorry to hear of this or to hear that this has happened to anybody

I just found out that my best gay friend is HIV positive.He is only 20 and it made me so sad that I cried for hours..I have since heard of other nice guys that have it..He is unbelievably positive through it all I don't know how but I'm heartbroken.I am very sorry about your diagnosis..I think that you are unbelievably strong for being able to come out and tell people online to help them too..hugs..I will subscribe and keep up with you

I am stright and all I can say is living with HIV is A hard lonely life I found out in 2007 and that I had it for tens years did not know it and now I am 38 I was not into drugs are playing around when your with some one for A year are more you would think you where oky and safe god I wish I could be sweet 16 again not have sex tell I found true love but even now A days its hard to feel and find true love most people are not true I tell women that I have HIV first off .love who you are all ways

Yea, I know that "stab in the heart" feeling all too well, happened twice so far, first time when I was phoned over my grandpa's death, second time over my fiancee's death ...
You can imagine how much I like using telefones ever since. Whenever my phone rings, my heart rate goes up and I always try to keep the phone calls as short as ever possible. After hanging up,I can calm down again.

The first time was bad enough, the 2nd time gave me the rest. I haven't been the same ever since, I somehow try to maintain a liveable way of life, although I must admit that I basically lost everything I ever cared for and never really cared for anything else ever since.
If you got an advice on how to recover frorm that, let me know.

Hey fag boy - As long as you dont take any drugs (the drugs they want you to take) and just be healthy and do excercise (like normal health advice) you will never die of anything related to this mysterious virus they have never been able to isolate.

Like the AZT made before HIV came about and it was for chemo and was banned by the FDA because too poisenous. It says on its own packaging that it destroys the immune system.
