This albums really reminds me of the early Korn albums. I wouldn't be surprised though since it's only two years after the korn debut CD. I'm glad Slipknot didn't continue with this sound and did something of their own.
this album is mostly experimental and is no where near as good as Slipknot. Alot more samples are on this album. This is their first album but they consider it a demo since only 1000 were made. Pretty much all band members for this line-up quit except Joey, Shawn and Paul. Anders is a good guy but in my opinion just isn't that great a singer. The instruments in this song and almost all on MFKR sound grainy and are not as loud as Slipknot so the overall impact is less.

actually ive done some research since my last comment and have discovered they share the lead. jim does quite a few of the solos so he may be the lead now, but mick was definitely the lead in the past (at least on self titled because josh was rhythm and jim replaced him at the last minute not allowing time for role changes). but really, niether one of them is credited with the lead. they are both simply credited as "guitars" except on mfkr mick was credited with lead guitars.

Clan isient an actual slipknot album..its fan made but crowz and MFKR are real MFKR had about 1000 made and about 700 still work. Crowz,on the other hand had about 15 made(lol seriosly) and about 5-8 still work

@Metal66671 there sampler didn't get there til after Donnie left Donnie did all of this Album sorry but your wrong cause Craig took over for Donnie and mick took over for Craig and Craig is there sampler your wrong on the sample part but the rest is your opinion and you have your right to you entire opinion and actually also the pail ones did this album then they changed there names to slipknot so in turn yeah plus Clown wrote this song :)

nah man or girl i cant really tell if ur a girl or guy but anyway the only reason why anders sounds better is coz hes got the deep voice for that deep song. corey cant handle it coz he whispers too much especially in crowz but corey bring more fel into it. anyway just y opinion

actually ive done some research since my last comment and have discovered they share the lead. jim does quite a few of the solos so he may be the lead now, but mick was definitely the lead in the past (at least on self titled because josh was rhythm and jim replaced him at the last minute not allowing time for role changes). but really, niether one of them is credited with the lead. they are both simply credited as "guitars" except on mfkr mick was credited with lead guitars.

yeah it was them, But Donnie Steel left slipknot in mixing process of MFKR and Mick got all the credits evene though he didin't play on MFKR

Clan isient an actual slipknot album..its fan made but crowz and MFKR are real MFKR had about 1000 made and about 700 still work. Crowz,on the other hand had about 15 made(lol seriosly) and about 5-8 still work

my dream is to get MFKR, an original copy of the 1000 made. even though i think anders really sucks, this is so unique and RARE! i love slipknot, rock on. i think that this is more freakily melodic than the self titled version

Craig is the sampler. Shawn's a drummer and percussionist I think. Now, anyway. I don't know about back then.

they didnt have sampler on mfkr. sean mcmahon (producer) added samples during the mixing phase.craig was credited with samples, but he didnt even join the band till the recording was done. he joined during mixing as a guitarist to replace donnie steele , but after production was complete, joey moved him to samples because they had no other way to produce them in live performances, and mick was brought in as permanent lead guitarist

Wrong. Mick is. check the albums credits. Mick is lead, and has been since he joined in the MFKR era. Jim, or james as you called him, is the lead for stone sour, not slipknot. im normally not picky when people are incrrect about small details, but if your gonna tell someone they fail on basic knowledge, youd better be sure your right. have a niceday
