  • Sticks and stones may break my bones will never hurt me!

That rhyme helps me at school they are saying racist things I say to my mum I wanna leave she says no but now if somebody says something bad to me I say that rhyme

    Thank you for listening

  • since elementary school ive been bullied.. left out. called fat. called retarded..

when i went into middle school. it got worse. in high school.. i felt that even if they don't say it to my face, they are saying it behind my back..

im in my junior year in school now.. and im not in school. i dropped out to go to an online school.. i feel so much more free.. but i still bully myself every day...

  • I have a video talking about my bullying story, I would really appreciate it if you could give it a quick watch. This video helped to to unbelievable extents

  • but words will kill me

  • lilie, you change things, you saved peoples lives i just wanted to

    Thank you

I'm really really glad you made this video

oh,and thank you alex and thank you charlie

    for helping in this video

  • @ moneyyea96 Yes, I totally agree - How could someone possibly dislike this video ?

  • It's a shame that 3 people disliked a video on bullying... Maybe those people are the bullies or maybe they are the one being bullied and feel like not even an amazing video can help raise their self-esteem. No matter what though, if you are being bullied. I am here for you. I know what it is like to be bullied. My whole 8th grade year was being bullied and how much it had changed me.... :) Great video and please do more like this!

  • Does anyone know the youtuber at 2.29 ?

  • OMG The tardis is in the back... sorry off topic. These videos help others in ways people can't even imagine.

  • Im a christian, I believe that homosexuality is a sin. you people havent a clue what it is to be bullied. the real truth is that no one is more abusive and hateful than the homos and their friends. which is pretty much everyone. the big difference is that christians dont go out and commit suicide , yes your names , bigot, homophobe , hater, racist, etc. are only words. Im not ashamed and your names wont make me. Maybe ppl need to just learn to accept critisism.

  • @timeisupUS I'm a Christian, too and I believe it's not criticism to openly hate someone just because of their sexuality/race/religion/anything. Homosexuality is not a choice, therefore homosexuals should be treated equally as any other human being.

God loves everyone, and a true Christian should too.

I really do hope you are not trying to say that being homosexual is bullying other people because that not only makes no sense, but it's ridiculous.

  • @maja147 my you torture the english languge, obviously a vicitim of the radical homo agenda, and Bible illiterate. #1 critisism is not hate. #2 wether you want to call it a choice or not its a comandment ot Jesus to flee fornication. fornication is sex outside of marrrage and marrage is defined by God btween 1 man and 1 woman. #3yes treat them equally., stop making rules and trying to pass laws to make it a crime to critisise them , let them deel with critisim like eveeryone else

  • @maja147 ''God loves everyone, and a true Christian should too''. according to the scriptures . God hates workers of iniquity, psalm 5:5 . Workers of iniquity are those who work to defend and promote sin , God loves a humble heart - those who confess and forsake their sin. I believe the scriptures!

  • @maja147'' I really do hope you are not trying to say that being homosexual is bullying other people because that not only makes no sense, it's ridiculous''. Im trying to show you the inequality of making rules to protect homos from critisism and calling it antibullying, hate speech , etc while at the same time giving free reign to critisism of Bible beleiving Christians by calling them bigots , homophobes , etc. If critisism of one group is hate , then so is critisism of another.

  • Kinda funny how Charlie smiles in everything. CHARLIE IS AWESOME.

  • sticks and stones may break my bones but words will always hurt me

  • @TheQueenSydney truth hurts , not words.

  • Dude @ 2:30 is my favorite! :D

  • This video is brilliant! I was bullied all the way through high school and even though it's been three years i still think about it, the people and stories told here must've taken a lot of courage to say/ remember, but, there's nothing wrong with these people, they all seem lovely, and brave.

What also helps me now is that i look at all the good things i've done since leaving school and i look back at the people that used to be horrible and I can see their faults and what they wanted to hide.

  • I was bullied for 3 years back in secondary school and the phrase' sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me' is completely and utterly a load of rubbish, of course words can hurt people, you just have to know which ones to use but still regardless good video :)

  • CHARLIE!

  • Never been bullied, but you kind of want to sit on the sidelines if your mate is doing it, cause they turn on you mostly. I think that is the major problem, but if everyone turned against the bully it would stop, it's just a fear factor, I reckon. Bullying is shite and the people who do it deserve it to see what it's like. Suicide is not the answer though, it ALWAYS gets better.

  • @CalumAJM14 so youre answer to bullying is to be a bully?

  • @TheMrsPeach Yes, it's Charlie's mom :)

  • looool

  • I get called nerd and geek everyday and everyone thinks it's okay and I laugh it off like I do on the outside but I don't on the inside.

  • @HollyYerawizard maybe you need to learn to take a little critism. are you a geek?

  • @HollyYerawizard I was bullied as well, but thankfully to a small extent.

Be a proud nerd and geek, I know it hurts but as long as you are true to yourself you can be happy. Bullies only use insults to make them feel better about themselves and if that's what takes for them to feel good about themselves than let them do whatever they want. Think about it, bullies are almost never good students with happy families and happiness in their lives, I feel sorry for bullies.

  • First of all: I love this video! All together we can make a difference and stop hating & bullying. This video is a huge step to a better future.

I personally believe that youtube is a great platform to talk about things like that. I want to make a video featuring peole from all over the world standing up for peace and against bullying. IF YOU WANT TO HELP ME, STARRING IN MY VIDEO, please contact me with a personal message here on YT and I´ll tell you what to do.

    Peace, Leonie form Germany

  • Good video Lindsay!

  • As a person who was bullied it bothers me how bullying is approached now. The way to stop bullies is to stand up for yourself, not rely on school programs or laws to protect you. It took me a long time, but I finally realized that those who were bullying me were the ones with the problem. Knowing this alone makes a big difference. You must fight the tendency to get depressed and start fighting back! Self-destructive behavior is the wrong answer and suicide is actually an act of selfishness.

  • Who is that guy with the beanie singing the song? 2:32

  • @Stain0 His name is Bribryontour on youtube.

  • My first thoughts on the first guy were thats he's good looking !!

  • I was always bullied in secondary school, every week. People used to throw pens at me, yell in my ear, try and trip me up, deliberately shove me and claim it was an "accident", jump out on me to scare me, etc. But the worst thing of all was words - I was insulted all the time.

  • Why has this only got 4,000 views? It deserves loads more! <3

  • hey, i watched this at school during anti-bullying week, when i saw charlie:) i jumped up screaming saying 'IT'S CHARLIE IT'S CHARLIE!!!!!!!!!' then was really interested in the rest of the video thx for your help especially since my friend is suicidal it really helped her

  • @TheMrsPeach I'm really pleased that schools have been showing this video during Anti-Bullying week.

  • @liliesarelike hello charlies mum, love u <3

  • @liliesarelike

They showed the intro and I think it was the story about homophobia, they showed.

  • this was beautiful <3

  • <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 to everyone who contributed to this video or anyone else who is being bullied <3

  • rosie from pottercast! (sorry I just had to say that).

but I really liked this video. I can't believe the things that some people are capable of--you would think "adults" would grow out of those behaviors, but it seems like some people just never gain that maturity or social capacity to understand that what they're doing is harmful and just horrid

  • such a moving video, brilliant work, and a huge eye opener.. xxx

  • I cried all the way through the video. I really think that things should change, people need to stop and think what they are doing to others!

  • i love the internet when things like this happen. words are full of power!

  • I have watched the part with bribry so many times now...

  • Bullying even from childhood haunts you in your older years. I do not think I have ever felt confident or even had the idea to be confident because voices were always around me telling me I was wrong... and I am still struggling to find the beauty or reason I am me... And not someone who has the power to bully another

  • For years and years I was ignored in elementary school, called fat and picked on. I didn't know what a real friend was until middle school.

  • Being abused by your peers is a really difficult thing, and it definitely changes you. I don't think I'll ever really be the same, I don't think anyone can go back to how they were before someone pushed them to the bottom. I really appreciate this video.

  • I'm not going to say my whole story, but I know my problem is a lot harder to deal with as its my whole family who verbally abuse me. after years of it, i only realized a few weeks ago. i can really relate to this video a lot.

but to anyone who gets bullied, you've got to keep fighting.

  • Just wanted to say I found this video very moving and could relate to a lot of the stories

  • great video :D

  • Think this video give me the final bit of courage I needed. Hopefully I can get back on track!

  • My friend tried to kill herself monday night.

people bully her because she dye's her hair.

    and everyone calls her fat.

seriously? why are people so mean?

  • @scsb56 aww that's so sad! Bullies are cruel! :(

  • Bullying is terrible..

  • I was bullied from a young age. I can still hear some of the comments. I now live a difficult life. I can't share my emotions or even my opinions. I struggle with social situations and I would rather isolate my self from the world. Everyone always says I should be more confidence, stand up for my self but no one really knows why I am this way. The words make bruises that won't fade away. I can't help the way I am. Bullying made me this way and I don't know how to go back to who I was before.

  • bullying sucks

  • I was bullied at school ans at work - it hurts like hell, especially when you complain and the teacher, headmaster, manager, says that you shouldn't provoke them to bulying you. So I asked these people to treat me like crap? Iasked them to beat the hell out of me? Pleeeeeeeeeeease. Iy's bad enough being attacked. what's worse is when people in authority deny it's happenong or blame you for it. Pathetic!

  • 4:15-4:30.

    'Nuff said.

  • Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will last a lifetime.

  • I was bully but I fought back and got abused at home emotional and physically beaten. Its sad that people use the internet as a platform to cyber bully people they know are dislike at school. I think cyber bully is something that can be dealt with faster then real life experiences, such as in school. As for the people online these people don't know you, unless you were being bully at school and it turned over to cyber bully.☺ Credit: MrRepzion explained this really well in his video. STAND UP.

  • i love this video. i'm really glad that i got my Respect Me (antibullying) certification :D

  • This is amazing. Thank you to everyone who helped make this video. It's nice to have some one taking a stand. I'm sorry about my first comment, I accidentally hit the send button,

  • This is amazing. Thank you Lily, and everyone else who

  • Why did you cut off the end of every song?

  • @weedfreehippie I think it's because the Original saying is "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me". I think what lindsey is trying to say is that words do hurt. Great video Lindsey, well done. :)

  • thanks for making this video coz even though when i was bullied it wasn't as bad as these stories it still affects me all the time

  • I was bullied for years when I first started school and I only wish they had things like awareness and support in things back then like this which really help make a difference.

  • Great video. Thank you :)

  • Such a lovely video, so pleased to be asked to be part of it. Love u much x

  • Another year, another inspiring video from you. I have no doubt in my mind that this video will give some people hope where they had none before. I'm proud to have been a part of it :) xx

  • who is that poor person that disliked this? i think he/she might have misunderstood the mening of life

  • Thank you so much for this video. I wish I had seen something like this when I had bullying problems... I send all my love and support to everyone <3

  • Brilliant video.

  • This is amazing. So many people out there have insecurities and self-image issues because of bullying, including myself. I have always been bullied since I was very young and had self-image problems and still do, so bullying is a very important issue to me.Thank you so much for making this video. It's brilliant, and you are an incredible and inspirational person. :)

  • I've been bullied at a very young age, I always knew that it had changed me and that it made me strong. That I couldn't be harmed anymore. Unlike other people it hasn't made me insecure. I'm good at being alone so I didn't mind playing on my own. This year(the last before university) I found myself spending lunch breaks in the library again because I had no one to go to. I'm happy, but conversations with my psychologist have made me realised that it's not healthy. I can be so much more.

  • I feel bullied, but the people who are doing it dont realise that what they say is bad. I dont know if theyre kidding or not, but i feel small nevertheless...

  • Who disliked?!

  • @alexis474542 I guess its a mistake...

  • 2:2.8 good voice!!!!!!!!!

  • I love u! Always doing good stuffs!

  • I know it's from a comedic type song from Tim Minchin, but it's a very truthful saying: "Sticks and stones may break your bones, but words can break hearts".

Thank you so much for always making these videos. They're so great.

  • When I was about 7 I started to get bullied by all of the girls in my year group, I decided it was best to go and be friends with the boys instead and it was the best idea of my life, it taught me how to not care as much of what people thought of me and that they would always have my back if I needed them

  • This video is one of the best. It has made me realise, and not only me, but many people that they are not alone. There will always be someone to listen. The right thing to do it to tell someone. I hope you all have a great day.. week.. year.. life :)

  • Thank you so much for making such a good video

  • Everyone in this video is lovely. And this holds a great message.

  • The bullies are always the ones who wants to feel more confident in themselves, so they take it out on others, to make them feel more powerful.

The bullies and the victims both need help.

I've never been bullied but I think the best thing you can do is tell someone, get help and ignore the bullies, there'll always be people around you who love you for who you are. =)

  • When I was in grade 1 everyone in my class bullies me. They said I smelt, and every time I went near them they'd run away from me with their hands over their face, as though the smell of me was toxic and it could possibly kill them. I got called stinkbomb and other such lovely names. I'd been an outgoing little girl before that, and its only now, 7 years later that I'm starting to get over the fear they gave me of standing out incase i did something wrong and everyone laughs at me. I'm ok now.

  • Sticks and stones may break my bones but words HURT LIKE A MOTHER F**KER

  • @staggo3000 LAWL. I just go "yo noob" and they shut up.

  • i have never been bullied but i've seen it happen. My advice is help, even if the person being bullied is a stranger. YOU might be the reason for him/her to realize that there are people who cares... that they (or anyone) is never really alone. :)

  • i went trought 4 diffrent schools i was bullied and attacked in all of them

    kids are horrible people

  • Hey guys, I'm really sorry about everything you've been through. Nobody deserves to be treated like that and I want you to know that there is somebody there who loves you <3 And that there will always be somebody to be there for, to talk or listen whenever you need. :)

  • I am a 21 year old who got bullied- both emotionally, psychologically and physically-for being fat and gay from about grade 6 until grade 12 I grew to be depressed and actually attempted to end my life on several occasions. I am pleading with those in situations like mine or worse, IT DOES GET BETTER. Find an escape from it, like I did in music. It is the little things that help you trough the day that count the most.

  • I got bullied when I was 9 years old.I ended up switching out of that school when I was 12.The only things I remember from that school is the constant teasing and ostrization I felt. I wish I could just go back and time and hug that little girl and tell her there's nothing wrong with her. She didn't deserve it; I don't deserve having to walk on eggshells around new person I meet. I don't trust boys any more, since the first attack came from them. It's ruined my ability to trust and love others.

  • I'm 18 and spent most of my life being bullied because I was a nerd and didn't like the things all the other girls liked. I even considered suicide quite a few times, but I actually got past it about a year ago. Bullying is never okay.

  • @XannyLikesPenguins but at the end of the day, the nerds will succeed in life :D

  • one bully didn't like the vid -_-

  • why are the cutest guys and girls getting bullied!!!! Get over it!!! stop doing that to people! it doesn't make you any better

  • the guy at 1:44 is really cute :) don't listen to them ;) u look great in what u wear

  • Bullying hasnt affected me much, but i did get a little taste of it when i was younger, and its turned me off of ever being able to say something mean to someone carelessly, because even though you dont see how that persons feeling inside, words do hurt. Thanks for giving hope :)

  • Your awesome!

  • I am 16 right now. When I was 9, my parents got divorced.. because of it, I developed an eating disorder. Binge Eating to be exact. When I was 10 the bullying started. I remember the first time someone pointed my weight out. It killed me, and everyone laughed at me. It continued until I was 13, and then I developed Bulimia. Then someone on the bus turned to me and said "You are so ugly..". I'd never met that person in my life. It killed me..

Thank you Lily, so much, for helping people like me.

  • This really made me think and I know someone who is being bullied and has been basically bullied for a good part of high school. I'm really timid and I can't stand up for her but I think I'll make an effort to at least support her and help her:)

  • Thanks you.

  • This is a beautiful thing you've done. Everyone involved as well. This is such an important issue, and such an important cause.

  • This is gorgeous.

  • i nearly started crying when i heard someone in this video saying my story... :'/

  • @Somebodywhosnotu I don't know who you are, but I want you to know I love you and you don't deserve what you're going through

  • @JessieLightyear

thank you so much, you do not know how much this means

  • JAZZA!!!!!!!!!

  • i feel bad for this poor kids and all i can say is i wish i were there to give them all a person to believe in and talk to but also to have a tiny goth girl(me) stick up for them and give them confidence....

  • how could someone dislike such a powerful video... Lovely job, yet again Lindsay xx

  • Thank you so much for this video, I cannot stand for bulling, and i'm glad to know that there are people that care so much because so many people are affected, and hurt because of this.

  • Great video Lindsay! Really touched me! I hate bullying I know how it feels and it isnt nice! Brought a tear to my eyes! I'm happy that Charlie got to spend time wiv Alex! I can't wait for them to move back to London ! I really wanna meet him he is a great role model and you should be soo proud to have such an amazing son!

  • This is a brilliant video, and very insightful.

Someone I know is being bullied in their workplace, like one of the stories mentioned in this video, just because their seniors are older and feel they can treat younger workers unfairly. Age discrimination is very much a big part of bullying in this case. I personally think it is disgusting. No workplace should be a place for bullying. The whole world, in fact, should be bully-free.

  • This was such an important project to have involved been involved in. Please facebook, tweet or share this. It has a lot of important numbers and advice that lots of young people need. If it helps even one person then that it could change a life.

  • I challenge everyone to say a random compliment to someone you know. It makes a world of difference, especially if what you compliment them is true, and something they dislike about themselves. Believe me, even if you don't know the person very well, it will make them happy.

  • it's sad that I know/have met half of those people. <3

  • This video brought a tear to my eye, you all did an excellent job.

  • Who the hell disliked this vidio??

  • This brought a tear to my eye. Thank you so much for making this video :)

  • Thanks for asking me to do this Lindsay, turned out great.

Wish i'd had the time to use my camera and not the iPhone though

  • My school has this thing called Stand Up Week. It's part of the Rachel's challenge organization :D Rachel Joy Scott was a true hero. I stand up to bullying everyday..

But I gotta say, with my friends we are all like family. We don't get into fights. We learn as much as possible about each other, and if we wanna stay friends: good. If not: that's fine too. We protect each other from bullying. And no one at my school even bully's anyone else. We figure, why not be nice to each other?

    Fuck bullys.

  • This is a great video and it's specially moving to me because I feel related to some of the stories told in it... Actually I lived my brother's and I'm so proud of him, and all the YouTubers involved, telling it's story in here so that people takes some time to tink about the bullying issues.

    Congratulations @liliesarelike :)

  • Again too scared to submit a story this year. 6 years after it started and 4.5- 5 years after it ended and I still can't bring myself to talk about it. Again a great video, I really hope people watch this and realise what they are doing.

  • @norrieaga09 :(

  • say hi to charlie for me please from his biggest little fan!!

  • Thank you for letting me take part in this video Lindsay. Glad I could be of help.

  • Thank you for making this video, this message really needs to be spread <3

  • These stories make me sad, and good acting job everyone.

  • does anyone know who the blond haired guy was at 1:41 ? :) he's hotttt

  • @eviex919 It's Jaco from jacoandnico, but sorry, he's gay. He is kinda hot though.

  • @Wayums oh dayum ha, yeh he is!

  • love this.

y'know I still don't understand why people feel the need to make someone else feel so small just so they can feel bigger.. it's just... eurgh.

  • I just don't understand why people think they have the right, the authority, to make someone else's life a misery. Do they not realise how much they are hurting someone? Or are they just downright cruel.

  • This is awesome!!!!

  • I felt really annoyed at my dad there but then I watched this and now I know that other people out there are having a crap time I don't feel too bad :(, great job tho

  • great job guys! :)

  • I can relate to Helen's story.

  • Beautiful video Lindsay ♥

  • love love love love love love this video. I'm grateful to everyone who shared their story so openly..

  • Charlie really loves that blue hoodie

  • OMG BRIBRY :D:D and charlie abd Alex!!!! <3<3<3<3<3 a very inspiring video(:

  • Bribry <3

  • so sad, I don't know who dislike this video.

  • NATALIE HOLMES<3

  • I'm actually starting an anti-bullying club at my university. This video is inspiring!

  • This is fantastic. By the way, just wondering, who is it at 2:31 ?

  • @pronouncingvariables That's Bribryontour. :)

  • once again a fantastic antibullying week campaign video, well done to @lilliesarelike @absolutetwoddle @cheektv and everyone else involved. :D

  • We had an assembly today from a man who had a speach and facial problem, he'd been bullied for nearly 50 years, and his speach was so inspiring. One person laughed and called him a freak, its aweful and he got excluded. We should do somthing about bulling, I've been bullied myself, an amazing video <3

  • Is that ben cook of dwm??????
