  • I can't wait till I move here!!!

  • Would it be safe to swim here in the beginning of march?

  • @96tay69 I can not recommend swimming here in March...It still can be choppy and waves can still be dangerous. To be safe vacationers and tourists should only enter the water here between MAY-SEPT. Always do your own research and watch the weather and surf report. People have been seriously injured and killed during the winter surf season which can last till April.

  • it really snit that bad in the winter my husband gets in and just crashes up on the shore when the wave takes him lol and i take my 2 year but she doesn't get in the water we just watch.but i love the summer time i could snorkel for hours and see all the way to the bottom very relaxing feeling.

  • Voglio ritornarci

  • OMG! i miss the islands so much, i watch ur videos when i can, i wish i neva moved back to the mainland. Love your videos ur doing a good job

  • Hey Wade! We are going to visit Waimea Bay this Saturday.. Sep 24th. Is it still safe to swim and jump off the rock?

  • @jazellesmom It starts to become unsafe in OCT. The water has already started to become MURKY and the swells have picked up. Some days the bay will be flat, others very rough. Check out the local surf report at Waimea...I personally don't jump in Murky Water that comes into the bay upstream from Waimea Falls. This starts to happen in fall because of the increase rainfall through the valley into the open ocean. Watch for beach signs and talk to locals if you choose to jump this time of year.

  • hey wayde just wondering how deep is the water? id like to jump when i get there too :)

  • @darickmeister First you don't go in the water in the winter time...lets get that across first. During summer the water is very flat, almost no waves...usually the water varies on tide and small swell action. You jump when the water is the deepest when a small swell is hitting right below. Water depth can be anywhere between 6-9 feet.

  • @WAYDESWORLDHAWAII thanks alot for all the info

  • I'm not having the best of luck finding the song. Can you please send me file via email? :) dakine8y7@yahoo.com MAHALO!

  • Love your videos bro! What is the title of the song from the start of the video? Much appreciated! Mahalo!

  • @cortezryb Name of the song is Hawai'i Nei...It's a Local song so unless you live here it will be hard to come by...It may be on itunes but not sure of the actually artists name :) Hope dat helps some.

  • I am planning my first trip there in late September. I have been watching your videos and love them for the great info, the passionate presentation... and the music behind each of them. I haven't even been there yet and I miss it already.

  • @zannemusic Mahalos for your comment...hope to see you soon, If I can help you in any way please join me on Facebook, Aloha :)

  • We'll be on Oahu in about a week. Thank you so much for posting these great videos! Not bad for a Red Sox fan :) No really, you rock! I'm definitely going to jump from that rock.

  • how deep is it were there jumping

  • @TheMusicmonkey79 Deep enough to jump brah...lol

  • You didnt show any of the rock climbers on the cliff way up on the beach! This beach is my favorite I go all the time.

  • i went there yesterday but it was really pulling so i didnt go in... i had 2 times where the ocean almost swept me away and don't need a third time hahah.

  • This is where I lived the last 2 months of my trip. Right up the hill at Sandy Swanson's place. Highly recommendable!

  • Great video! I I used to live in Honolulu about 8 years ago and Waimea was my favorite beach. We went there in the winter and got just worked playing in the waves. You would get knocked down just like a little kid and then tumbled in the surf like a washing machine. You should do another video in the winter when a big swell roles in and mix the footage to compare. Also bring your GoPro when you go in the waves. That would be an epic and very unique video.

    Aloha, Rivers

  • maholo braddah wayde for another great vid! Remember spending plenty of time there!

  • I'm visiting here next week. Are there small waves to surf or is it completely flat this time of year?

  • @orangesv650 It's still Flat my braddah until mid-end October, look up Waimea bay winter on my videos....There are only two types of waves here..............No Waves or Killer Waves. You can't go here when there are waves, you need to be Pro or crazy to enter these waters between Nov and March. I hit in 10 foot swells here, big mistake, almost didn't make it. Stay to the East side or South side this time of year, Makapu'u for bodyboarding and Waikiki for Longboarding. Mahalos fo askin Brah!

  • @WAYDESWORLDHAWAII Thanks for that info as I don't want to go out in anything bigger than about 5 feet, LOL! thank you.

  • Lovely beach & music for vacation :))
