ok, I was raised on music like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, Areosmith, The Who, The Doors, Steppenwolf, etc. And I think The Pretty Reckless are an incredible band. THis is exactly what we need for music in this century, as rock n roll has become scarce. I showed this to my parents, who also love TPR...and they're in their 50s.
6- avril and taylor do not sing the same genre of music or have similar styles, there two different girls, they sound completely different. "under my skin" sounds NOTHING like "light me up", not even "goodbye lullaby" does -.-
7- a manufactered artist is ppl like katy perry, lady gaga, britney spears, beaver, miley cyrus etc. neither avril nor taylor was told what to sing, dress, speak etc as those artists have. :)

ok, I was raised on music like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, Areosmith, The Who, The Doors, Steppenwolf, etc. And I think The Pretty Reckless are an incredible band. THis is exactly what we need for music in this century, as rock n roll has become scarce. I showed this to my parents, who also love TPR...and they're in their 50s.

3- yes, her voice is screechy, doesnt mean its bad though.
4- taylor has said her influences are nirvana, led etc. so she has high rock influences, yes it is a mixture of pop and rock.
5- theres more to rock than just rock, theres metal, soft rock etc. and it comes in various forms. you cant say this isnt rock cuz it has the elements.

@Hotice770 Nah from what I've seen she searched around a lot before finding her current label and producer. She had an idea and she wanted to perfect it before releasing a CD. If she's changed or not I don't know. People actually do change a lot between ages 15-17. She writes her own stuff unlike most manufactured people, and I don't detect fakenes. I don't think that every teen singers is manufactured just because they are a teen, but if you do I doubt I'll change your mind.
