NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I heard just yesterday...Gary was such an inspiration to me....I'm so glad you were here Gary, I used to listen to your version of these two songs with coffee in the mornings or when I needed a pick me up...as I will continue to do...I miss you Gary....I really wish I could have met you...someday brother, on the other side, I'll tell you face to face....I hope I can make people feel like you made me feel....thanks forever and Groove on Rich...
Richard was my best friend, and I sorely miss him! He was the best!!! Would do anything for anybody. So sad, it has to come to death, before people listen to his music.
He is awesome with his Stevie Nicks impersonations. Wish I had more of them.
Sorry folk, Groovin Gary passed away last week. I don't know the details. This video is shot on the stage of his (and my) alma mater, Beaver High School. Wonder what year?
Ok,thats it, the next time I have to dance at something I'm going to groove ala Gary. Only those with superb taste will recognize the arm pumping undulations of the master and if they can't...then they won't. GO GARY!!!
WOW!!!I didn't even like this song before I heard this version but now I can't stop thinking about it! THIS IS AWESOME. I hope Gary is still out there groovin and pumping!
I posted the whole thing (all three movies) some time ago, but Trent Harris got in touch and asked me to take them down, so I did. I was stunned that he was so cool about it, and just said as much as he'd like to release it, there's just way too much copywrite stuff going on to make it worth it, and anytime a bootleg pops up it causes him headaches. But he is able to sell dvd copies from his own web site, which a quick google search will reveal. .
so is his impression actually good or is it just weird, and that's what's interesting about it?

They showed the Beaver Trilogy in Toronto this week. Incredibly moving, and my condolences to Gary's family and friends.
I can't quite place it, but this number is one of the most _ominous_ pieces of music I've ever heard...

My guess on the year is 79-80. As for the Car, his beloved Farrah was running and at the Church where the viewing was held.
He was a wonderful person and will be miss by everyone who knew him.

I'd love to see a 'where are they now' piece on Groovin' Gary. Wonder if he still has that car or discovered his true self.

I think my (current) favorite part of this film is the little distraction at 2:06.
