Thanks all. The easy part is, it works off a bar chord, that we all know, with a couple of add ons. The pedal is a Digitech RP400. Just tweek the Boogie patch, with some reverb, echeo,EQ....sould get you there. Going into the sound card, and out through the Creative Labs, woofer, and goofy speaks...very low. Captured with my kodak Easy Share C533 cam...cheers.

I really like the George lynch guitar is it a real ESP or is it the LTD model? does it have the really tall frets? I played the yellow and black version of your guitar at guitar center and the tall frets were incredible for bending.

Don't worry bro. Up until like two weeks ago, all I could do was 3 strings as well, but once I got this one down, it was like all these doors opened, and now I can sweep like an effing broom in the desert! :P

Try and practice the upstroke on this sweep, I swear to you it will help out a lot!

Great Lesson But sweeping is a real pain in the ass, iver just moved on to shredding and i can do most of the licks but when i start sweeping i wanna smash my guitar as i ahave the same prob as you had with right hand, that drives me nuts. i cant synchronise my picking hand to my gfingers, like ive got the tedhnique of sweeping and my fingers go fast enough its just that they either go way to fast and i end up playing the string behind it or my pick goes to fast and i end up muting it

Oh stop...if I can do it, you peeps can. The reason I say it's easy, is because it works of a bar chord shape that we all use. with a roll on, and a pull off', "slide option", it is prolly, the most easy to grip sweep pattern. Unlike wide arp sweeps, those to me are much harder to grasp. Break it in half and go up the neck, in half steps for Lynch scary stuff ,like I did in this goofy vid. CHEERS!

LOL No kidden. For me it was easy to rake over a bar chord, with add ons, insted of some wide arp, that can be more demanding. Most peeps go for the minor arp...thats cool, and I do that one, also, in some tunes. I wanted to show the easy, major pattern here. Hope it helps you, with cool ideas. "CLINK"
