i fought the rank 6 conqueor and was really easy. do you just need higher BR to unlock rank 8?

Heh jsut beat rank 5 one on hard mode... much easier than rank 8. It has to do wit hdefeatign more rare guild mosnetrs and stuff I think, make sure you compolete every quest. Im working on unlockign Rnak 12 Conqueror, if theres such thing, hard mode only.

Well I made sure to put the wonder amulet on but otehr than that, i jsut spent time clearing up the ailments. So at elast 1 team would be clear, that helped.

Oh goody, I am SO looking forward to THAT fight... Maybe setting up the gambits to make the battle completely auto driven isn't such a bad idea....

Yeah, it's actually really fun. When Yiazmat gets low on HP if you don't keep him in check he can do this like Regen type move that recovers half a health bar every like 1 or 2 seconds for a short time. It's really fun and really repetitive.

I am guessing you are also not doing the full auto-gambit thing that some people do where the game basically does the battles itself. I am trying not to use the gambits and have more of a hand in the battles and such. I think all those gambits really take the fun out of the game.

I did mine all hands on. Yeah, I had gambits but I didn't have them set up to do the battle for me. What point is there in that?
