Hi. Thank you SO much for this video. I have had issues with my left hamstring and both my hips for years. I'm 29, and run about 6 miles 3 or 4 times a week...and was just having such trouble. For the past month or so I've been doing these stretches after each run and I am completely cured! Thank you SOOOOOOOOOO much!
Experts say post workout stretches are not as suitable because the muscles are warm and is more insensitive and therefore more subject to possible micro-lesions madeduring training.
@flexiblewarrioryoga omg at .34 when u decide to take ur shoes off do u realize ur ankle and tibia are so intense theyr popin out..its amazingly beautificatious..beautiful legs
I get awful cramps in my calf when I try to go to Pigeon pose. I have to come out of it, shake my leg and try to get ease my way back in. Any tips for that?
Hi. If you can't touch the ground in Runner's stretch, try bending your front knee more or as much as you need to touch the ground. Also, try being on fingertips instead of flat palms on the ground. You'll still feel a stretch in your hamstring. Or you can also use props to put your hands on (like yoga blocks, or phone books to give you some lift. Hope this helps! Keep stretching :)
2:40 - Flexible Warrior Yoga, I have a question about the runner's pose. If I can not do this pose with my finger tips or palms on the mat what do you recommend? Should my hands be on my hips, leg or thigh instead?
I'm one of those people that never comments on youtube videos, but I just had to say that your video is so helpful! I have been doing these stretches and positions for the past few days and I have never felt so good after a run. Thank you for posting this!
My Father sending you the Butterfly at the start and the message in the Wind at the end says it all, Thank you for this Miss Flexible Warrier. Ultimate Blessings to your Heart, x :)
Nice video and some nice tips, but as a runner myself I'm far from flexible so I wouldn't even be able to do some of those streches properly in the first place =)
sooo say your to uh big boned to even do most of these stretches can anyone recommend an easier version for us out of shape not very limber first time runners? :(
I like your video as I know the next level for me is complete flexibility. Also, that butteryfly- I thought was a shirt sleeve :) . Additionally, your backdrop (location) is refreshing.
