so now that cotto lost people tend to bring back fights so they can feel better, especially Puerto Ricans! Margarito only lost to Santos once, the first fight was a no contest, due to a headbutt that was used the second time! i thought margarito should of won that fight, he was puttin all the pressure during the end of the fight, too bad the fight was in Puerto Rico and we all know how ¨fair¨ judges are in Puerto Rico! all they do is rob, and cry after a fight! I thought like many other thought that Margarito won that fight, Antonio was coming on at the end before the stoped the fight on cuts to go to a decision. Santos seemed pretty happy the fight was stopped.

now that cotto lost people tend to bring margaritos past losses, and for the record, margarito only lost to Santos once, the first time they met it was a No Contest due to a cut at the beginning of the first 3 rounds which was created by Santos headbutts, and the same headbutts were used the second time, when margarito was putting pressure on Santos and then the fight was stopped due to the cut!! margarito would fight him again if he moved up weight, but his natural weight is welterweight!!!!!!

For those hu are familiar with how Margarito used to box during tht time, noe that he used to wake up in the fight about round 5 and just throw 100+ punches from there onwards, Knowing tht he didnt get to fight the full 12 rounds - hence "hey santos you win"
this stopped round 9 and he was still up on one boxing card
i had Santos winning this fight, but im sure margo was shortening the pts gap. he wasnt neccesirily going to win but the gap was becoming smaller.
