Come off it, man. The guy's good, but Reni's just in a different league to every other drummer ever. Watch Blackpool '89 live to see the man do it for real. Left hand rat-a-tat on his snare making a greater wall of sound than Keith Moon on one of his 20 piece kits.

If you read my comment correctly I stated that Reni would be proud.

I didn't at any point suggest that DetaRamei was in the same league as Reni - in my opinion nobody is.

The point I was making that its great to see people covering Roses tracks.

It seems a common trend on YouTube for people to make derogatory comments against other peoples comments as well as the people posting the videos.

I take it you can play the drums as well as the guy in the video........??

Or.. your just saying.. you like his work better than all the others... cuz.. i DON'T THINK this drumming exemplifies ANYTHING that could be considered technically advanced, much less extraordinary ... do you?

It has been stated many times that Reni is stunningly accomplished as a drummer, and that he "played the drums like Hendrix played the guitar". As for this young chap, he's good but there's nothing exceptional there. I used to play the drums but gave up after I realised I was nothing special.

As for Reni - if you're in doubt of his brilliance listen to Daybreak.

Yeah, the sound of the snare is too tight and shrill, which doesn't fit the song. I'll try with brushes to make it better.

@DetaRamei No offence as this is good drumming, but you miss a vast amount of what Reni does during this song. I'm sure you've seen Blackpool Live so get some tips there, and try and do the backing vocals, too!

My point stands; this young lad doesn't get anywhere near what Reni does on this song. Get a grip and relax. Anyone who issues such belligerent comments is usually a Grade A cunt, but that's another story for another day.
