  • Hindu god

  • so sweet lovely colour .........

  • that is not ugly i think it is uneq and dont juge a animal by the beauty by the personalty

  • oh and i forgot to ask what sucking habit does a ring prevent??!!

  • @pyxiekit The ring is barbed on the end. Whenever the cows tries to suck another then the barb jags the cow trying to be sucked and she moves away or kicks the one with the ring.

  • well she grew up real nice! btw i want to say i love that you put up your vids and put up with and defend yourself against those blind peta people, it is clear that you care for your cows and take good care of them to the best of how you can, no one should judge until they have done it, good work man! love the videos

  • she grew up real nice! hey btw i love that you care for your cows so much and put your vids up and put up with and defend yourself against those blind peta people! your animals are beautiful and you obviously care for them a lot, good work man!

  • how is this cow ugly????????? like really its adorable!! ^_^

  • Aw, she is lovely. :)

  • shes cute!

  • Wow you wanted a comment on how ugly she is?????????????? When she is such a pretty girl?? Nice paint!!!

  • I'm fairly certain that the label "ugly" was meant as a "tongue in cheek" thing........ :)

  • she isnt that ugly

  • were there ever any wild cows?

  • All the wild ancestors originated in Europe.

  • why is she ugly?

  • It's nice to see that your cows can run and lay down whenever they want. I hate when PETA freaks go nuts about how ALL dairy animals are mistreated.

  • PETA is making waves with confined animals such as veal in some states, yet they fail to see that large groups of cattle are perfectly natural with large farms. They are herd animals whether it be 20-2000. They just don't get it.

  • Cows don't graze in the Winter time!!........idiot myhollyhock1

  • cows moooo

  • she has small utter? how come? thanks for replying

  • Sometimes they don't bag up until they are close to calving. She didn't bag up much until she was within a few days of calving.

  • hi, i've got a question about the barn.i see its open front, how do you cope with winter weather, snow , frost, etc, and what about rain, isnt it falling on the feed???do you use open front barn for your milking cows as well ???

    thanks for replying

  • The open end of this barn, where we feed, faces East and the rain, snow, wind isn't a problem since it rarely comes in that direction. The Western part of the barn, on the right, is enclosed with a side curtain that is raised during the warm months of the year. The North and South ends of the barn lead to an open lot. We have two different types of barns for our milk cows and you can see then in some of the other videos.

  • jglk

  • Do their tails get infected when you chop them off?

  • They don't get chopped off. A castrating ring is put on the tail and they dry up and fall off.

  • Oh, I see. Thanks for replying. I know some cows have their tails cut much, much shorter.

  • We keep them docked about 8 inches below the taint.

  • Sorry, what is 'taint'? And thanks for replying!

  • LOL! Taint is an old timers name for vagina. Sometimes I forget that not everyone knows what it means. Anyway, I don't like to say vagina.

  • Oh! Never heard that, but I'm a horse, or dog person. I thought 'taint' might be short for 'constraint' i.e. the clamp around her tail. Tks again

  • lol

  • What would she suck on?

  • The titties of the other cows.

  • LOL, a lesbian cow XD

  • Nah, basically a calf that doesn't grow up :)

  • A Peter Pan cow, hehe.

  • the "ugly duckling", so to speak grew up lovely, but why the ring in her nose?? thanks. B

  • She had a nasty sucking habit that wouldn't quit, as with several of our Montbeliarde crosses. There is a jagged metal piece that isn't very compy for the one getting sucked. The habit is easily broken then the ring gets taken out.

  • =))

  • She's like "Jeesh, here he comes with that camera again. Stop filming me!" So cute :)

  • so when the cows are put down or die where and how do u get rid of them?

  • We bury them in a compost pile.

  • do you use sand as a bedding material?if so, have you got any problems with pumping manure?

  • No, we use dried manure for bedding. We aren't set up to use sand.

  • Poor cows. They should be roaming fields.

  • Not this time of year. They may slip on the ice and get hurt.

  • youre totally right!

people make up lousy comments like "they could slip on ice"

thats crap look at wild horses and cattle that live outside.

And to use dried manure for bedding!

how would they like to sleep in theyre own shit!

  • Have you ever seen a what happens when they slip on the ice and split you asshole? It isn't cute. Dried manure is excellent source of bedding material. You don't know shit so fuck off!

  • Furthermore, wild cows and horses aren't built to handle icy conditions.

  • ignorant

  • lol she looks way better than from the first one

  • She just had her calf and I posted the video.

  • I love the pattern of her spots! She has a ring!! Is she dehorned? What breeds is she? Did she try to drink off the other cows? What was her nasty sucking habbit?

  • She is a Montbeliarde x Holstein x Brown Swiss crossbred. She is dehorned. A few of our Montbeliardes have a hard time breaking the sucking habit when they are young. The ring is put into the nose to help them break it before they damage the udders of others.

  • cant see anything ugly in her ;) but my god that one cow was huge :O

  • Look at the video where she was only a few days old. She has matured quite a bit.
