@gilliet1 - just a quick note on the cow thought... most of our milk is imported from Canada, which is why we're seeing dairies die out. Instead of spending all that money to import and put our farmers out of business, they should be spending it to keep our farmers in business (which would cost a lot less). On top of that, farmers in some states are now fined heavily if found using or giving their neighbors the raw milk. Meat is probably already on that road as well.
If we all just vote against ALL sitting politicians, that would send a message to the next group that they will be gone unless they can make things right. If every single sitting politician was voted out, I guaruntee it would be historical and it would send a message to the rest of the world that we (americans) really want change too.

The best thing you can do is at least start talking about all of this with people you know. Studies on marijuana recently found it cures cancer. Yet its still illegal federally. Do you know how many medications marijuana would replace at a fraction of the cost. Can't get high off hemp but its illegal because it would replace oil companies, textile, and paper companies with an inexpensive product that's qualities are far superior to that of competitors.
