i have a dead blueray drive...and im hoping this is my ticket to play games without having to insert discs into the drive.

my ps3 is on 3.41 Hermes CFW

i cannot install Gaia Manager v2.07 or v2.02 because i get the following error

"an error occured during the install operation (80029564)"

i was however able to install Gaia version 1.04

but when i try to run gaia, it fails to start and gives me an error code 80010009

any suggestions?

am i on the wrong CFW ??

@XXwikkiXX Yes you should insert a game this makes it run a lot easier and takes stress off the PS3 hope this helps, it also stops you needing a load of different managers and things

hey guys may need a little help .. i used to xbox scene but a cheap ps3 was given to me .. but every game i install come up with blackscreen .except for killzone 2 but that was preinstalled , bd drive doesnt work using kmea3.55 with gaia 2.07 and multiman 2.16.07 I think ) is there a tut on correct way to load games >? i have games goign to gamez to both apps can see them .. so far every one i load blackscreen ... bdemu is done please help thanks

i'm using gaia manager 2.02 with kmeaw cfw. and also installed omg lvl2 patcher and permission fix. the last two is not necessary after one run, lifetime. so i'm copying my game disk to hdd, and playing it discless. not required for me with these softwares. (also pirating works ssshh)

@GameGaze2011 It's the retail version. I bought it used at gamestop and it doesn't work properly. If i play it with the disc it will work the right way, but just running off the hdd gives me problems!

@GameGaze2011 Ok after playing around with it for a while I found out that I wasn't starting assasin's creed or black ops the right way. I got them to work now with a disc in. I was choosing the game folder instead of the disc.
