@TheSamber21 there's nothing to learn here, lol. Just wash your hair the same way you would out of braids. All of this is some cumbersome unecessary mess. Try this: stand under the shower, let the water run through your hair/braids, massaging your scalp gently as you do so to loosen up dirt, etc. Apply diluted shampoo to your roots and scalp. massage gently (dont rough up the braids). concentrate on cleansing your scalp...
Is there anyway you can take away the music in this video? I can barely hear what you're saying, and I really wish I could.. I think this vid would be better if you either amp'd up your audio, or turned down or removed the music.
i dont think ppl r trying to be mean, theyre right. i clicked on this video to actually learn how to wash my braids, and not being able to hear her makes this video worthless. its just counter productive. i'd rather listen to her talk then hear this or any music.
@TheSamber21 (sorry about the typos before)...rinse out, using the same massaging motion. Squeeze (dont rub) braids in a clean towel to mop up excess water. Dilute conditioner and apply to your roots and the entire length of your braids. Cover with plastic cap for 30 minutes. Rinse, squeezing the braids as you go along, but never rub. rinse until water runs clear. Szueeze braids with dry towel to remove excess water. Apply your favourite liquid leave-in conditioner. Air dry. DONE.
hey do you have naturaly thin or thick hair? i was wondering because, i have thick hair and i was wondering if that affects how many braids you'll get. because you dont that many. just wonderin', ive never had micros before :]
Why are some folks being so mean? If you don't like to hear the music, click mute. Why is she playing loud music, the question was posed in some comments...maybe because she wants to play loud music. It takes two seconds to criticize something; but, how much time does it take to create something better? What people fail to realize is this video is a FREE option to help some folks deal with their hair. Video maker...thank you for posting your video:)
Natural ingredients don't always mean that it is less harsh. Even 100% natural castile soap made with olive oil can be pretty harsh/drying on hair, because it is extremely basic.
I don't know why people insist on playing loud ass music when they make instructional videos. I CAN HEAR OR UNDERSTAND A WORD YOU ARE SAYING OVER THE MUSIC!
I sometimes feel as though people stress themselves out when they have micro braids in. I wash my hair normally, no sectioning or anything of the sort, and they remain neat and untangled for a whole two months.
What is it that makes you feel as though sectioning and everything else is necessary?
wat i think is better to do is squeeze shampoo into a bucket while warm water is runnin, then take something to pour the soapy water into ur hair, and massage the scalp, repeat as needed..then pour clean warm water to rinse..to condition just place in scalp.its easier to dilute this with water also...then rinse..or just use leavin onditioner..wrap head in towel and keep changin the towel..u culd also blow dry roots
i used this method today and my hair came out LOVELY! I was so worried the yaki would tangle but my braids look nice, smooth and refreshed. the only difference was midway through my hour of towel drying, I used Pink oil Moisturizer then blow dryed it on low then put the pink on again with a light spray on conditioner.
i read somewhere that you need to dilute your shampoo with the water first and then massage it through your scalp and braids. i guess it'll be easier to rinse off then.
Thanks for this vid!! You may want to consider taking a point tip applicator bottle, put a little bit of shampoo and then dilute it with a significant amount of water and use that to wash your braids. I only mention that since you said you had a hard time rinsing the shampoo out around the edges. Thanks for the fantabulous vid!:-)
thats how i wash my braids (concentrating on the scalp)...but only i leave it loose, i only put my hair in braids while washing when washing my real hair. Nice Video.

@muzicluver7481467 well i can't edit the video now.
there's always the mute button because 95% of this video is most likely useless rambling.
hysteriicz 1 year ago
@muzicluver7481467 anyway, I wrote what was said since no one can seem to hear me, but I can hear myself just fine.
So just look in the info panel.

@teardropsrnng i would say thickness of hair and the size of your head depends on how many braids you get lol.

You should invest in natural ingredients shampoo. That suave has harsh cleansers.
