Of all the many, many versions of La Paloma that I have heard this is the best. The wonderful voice of this singer, the excellent arrangements, the Afrikaans language, the light touch of the accordeon, easily makes this the best that I have ever heard.

The opera world just never knew what a stunning singer we had in Beloved Leonora. I remember being mesmerised by her Micaela in Carmen at the Civic Theatre in Johannesburg.
