i had windows 7 7000 but microsoft called me in my mobile phone and it told me that if i hadnt uninstall windows 7 from my pc the would call the police!!!!!

Yes, July 1st i think. But the Official RC [Build 7100] is available and doesnt expire till sometime in 2010, and by then RTM will be available.

if its a beta is says beta, for test purposes only. i hvae windows rc 7100 which has for evaluation, which is the same as a release cadidate

That's not an RC, 7100 was a Beta. Expires in August.

It says expires 02-03-2010 05:29 Definatel not August. But every single thing is the same. But the version no is diffrent, its higher. I downlaoded it from the official Microsoft website. It says Download WIndows 7 RC1 x64/x32 build 7100

Yep, your right, my mistake. I've just downloaded and installed. Looks good and is very responsive. Not mcuh different than the beta.

im sceptical about getting this, last time i got this windows 7 os it was complete hell. the wifi wouldnt work and all the programs i got werent compatable with it. it wasnt even worth it in the end

Yes you can. But only if you put it onto a disc and boot from that. It also works if you do it on a memory stick --> tutorial for that soon

Thanks, but i just used a disk emulator, like daemon tools, it works if you dont have a dvd burner.

U know u can make the windows7 look like the windows Xp classic theme... And it is much much faster than the Xp in the classic theme... So its better in any way ) The only shit thing was with build7000 with me that it didnt reconized my GPU very well xD I have a Msi Radeon HD2600Pro (512mb) It showed me that it is 768mb...FTW :D And showed that i have DX11?... Rofl is that even out? :D Nice video anyways... I made a vid about the windows7 too... Gonna make a new one when im gonna get my new pc:P

First off RC1 Pre-release. And to answer your question, because it isn't RTM (Ready to manufacture) it isn't recommended as a primary OS, however i use it ddaily and have no problems so you might aswell!

Yes but with 512mb memory with reduced performance. Of course you can disable certain items and play about with visual items to get performance/visual balance you like.

It's a pre-release of RC1. ATM getting hold of RC-Escrow. And 7057 cool :) You might be able to upgrade instead of fresh install. I could from 7000 to 7048 then 7048 to 7057. But anyways, again good luck :)

This isn't beta it's RC1 (pre-release) But either way, in comparison vista with speed and crashing programs W7 even in a pre-beta stage was a legend. Glad to say it still is and i hope M$ dont screw up right at the end. Good luck with installation please let me know how you get on :)

I work for Microsoft and let me tell you, this is an official RC1 cause I have the build 7075 RC2 and almost ready for retail! All the features stated by one of you saying this build 7057 doesn't have the 7075 has them all... I may post the build 7975 on torrent sites but I'm being careful not to, have to protect my job but soon we as a Microsoft special IT developement team might leek it to you guys very soon! Many features of the RC stated in the official Windows 7 blog are not in this build, and 7057 is part of the WINMAIN grouping.
