The mother, Naomi, was diagnosed with Hepatitis C many years ago, and probably contracted it when she was a nurse. At the time, it was considered a death sentence, but she has managed to fight it off and is still here.
I was at this concert and it was absolute MAGIC! There will never be a night like this, regardless of what anyone has to say! This will be an evening I will NEVER forget!
This wasn't THE show on Decenber 31, 1999; however, any show with Mama and Wy together is an EVENT!!!! I wish the "Millenium" concert would be out on DVD. It was a life changing experience for any person that loves "The Judds!"
This looks like it's from the millenium concert - the reunion concert before they embarked on the reunion tour. I remember them doing this song there...Didn't realize there was a video of this concert! It's either bootlegged from someone with a camera in the concert or someone got their hands on a demo of a video of the concert that was never released. Either way...POST MORE PLEASE! I was in Phoenix for that concert and LOVED IT! Thanks for posting this!
naomi has stage fright. she would never sing solo. and if she did. it would shock me. even though she is amazing. but harmony is her thing. she has never had a real interest in singing solo.
wow. i wish someone would post that! that would be cool. in the movie "love can build a bridge" there is a song, that they sing their own parts. you can tell on that, that naomi's voice is not rly country. if she were to sing solo, she is strictly meant for bluegrass.
(the actors in the movie lip sing to the judds. the songs in the movie were pre-recorded for the movie.)
I have no idea what show it was or when I just remember watching it and my mum saying that it was the chick from song for a season. But she had really orange hair at the time and her voice sounded country from memory, so she might be able to pull that off anyway
oh yes... too bad we cant find the show now. and the chick from song for the season is naomi. she is a fantastic actress too. i personally would love to see her in more movies. i think, that once i get my video camera, i will try to put the part of the "love can build a bridge" movie that i was talking about. it is rediculous that ppl are saying naomi cant sing. the woman has the gift. one of her many gifts. that is why she has all the awards. lol
i have seen it on comments here, and other youtube vids. that she cant sing and has no talent. those are obviously ppl that dont even know who the hell she is. anyone who can sing, act, do song writing, speaking engagements, be a best selling author? well... that sounds like incredible talent to me! :)
