Same thing happened to me when I was playing. I was Russia and I turned my back to send bombers to the US because they were pretty much fucked and Chicago was still standing so I figured "what the hell? nothing bad could happen." well I go to do a quick check of my subs of of mainland Europe and Moscow and Leningrad and all my other cities were lighting up like a Christmas tree! I still thought it was funny as fuck though.
