Sean players use a lot of tick to normal moves, which isn't as effect as a beefy ken combo or anything but the mix up game that it yields is very fun to watch

It may just be me or the choice of characters but this looked to me like an amateur fight. It got a bit better later in but they were both pretty repetitive. : /

It sucks that people don't use Akuma enough due to his stamina, I still consider him one of the best characters.

He's not. People just avoid using him because he's awful.

Not so much that he's awful, more that he's really really limited as to how he can deal damage. I would consider other characters a little worse than Sean, in other departments...such as how damage they get dealt or how low their stamina is (exception: Akuma).

nope.. he's just awful, damage dealing wise, offense wise, defense wise, which basically makes him awful. I think he's rock bottom tier or maybe it was 12, but even 12 can fare against some tournament players... look at yamazaki

Ok here's the thing about Sean, he's not the worse character in every category. Akuma, Ibuki, Remy, and the twins (Yun and Yang) all have lower stamina than Sean. Sean has mid range stats on defense and walking speed. The thing about Sean that makes him really really bad is how limited he is. He has little to no options in how he can mixup his game. Look at the top tier characters (Yun, Chun, Ken, Makoto). They all have a common theme. They all have numerous ways of dealing damage.

To continue...Yun has Genei-Jin (best move), Chun has great normals (a good chunk of them are bufferable/linkable into her SA2), Ken has a great mixup game and hits hard, Makoto has the best mindgames and her command toss is just beastly.

well yeah hes obviously not worst in every category, but hes bad in the 3 most important ones, which makes him the worst character.  yeah he can take damage. Theres no point arguein since we're both on the same track.

heh, i'm just pointing out that he has little options. Stat wise, he has the potential to be at least mid tier. Capcom just decided to nerf him.

Sean was actually good in Second Impact, believe it or not.

This game is pretty old and if you know your match ups and you have the right talent and heart a Sean can win SBO or beat Chun.
