  • Wish this was also available in the Philippines. UK is a great place and so this mobile map really comes in handy.

  • my phone has wi fi and the google maps work fine whilst i am at home, but when i leave the house and don't have the wi fi i loose the maps. I am not on a contact and don't want to pay download charges. Is there any way of downloading the maps i need before i leave home

  • Wow the UK . My parents are going to the UK on easter weekend.

  • Works perfectly on a k800i although do not use unless you have unlimited GPRS data or similar deal with your tariff as downloading all the maps will make your bill rocket!

Im using the O2 Network and the K800 series are java based. The My Location feature will show which cell your connected too, and appears to work well although does not like it when you are spanning 2 cells.

  • Hi I down loaded this yesterday to my lg viewty which i dont think is a sybian thingy i am on T-mobile web n walk and every thing works fine , looks just like it does on a pc map update in a nik nak on sat views , very good free app.

  • I got a message on computer saying it was for Vodafone users.

  • do u download it or view it on web

  • i tried to go to the web site for the maps i am on the 3 network and it wont even let me go to the website

  • -.-!

  • will it work on all mobile networks!

  • You must use a question mark.

  • Homes I'm the eighth person to comment.

  • I do like Google Maps, however it doesn't work properly on Symbian OS 9.1 - the left and right virtual keys map to the other key - eg click 'accept' and it declines. This happens with all the virtual keys at the base of the screen.

  • Does any one know if thiscan be integrated with a sat nav system on your mobile to give you live navigation? For example with the nokia N95.

  • I don't think it can yet. There's a strong probability it will in the future. I prefer Google maps over the maps on the N95...

  • Engadget mobile reckon theyre integrating GPS very soon. check out the article:posted on 24th May 07 titled 'google maps for mobile gets gps'

  • Thanx. They do seem to be working towards integrating GPS to their mobile maps. However it is only available for Windows Mobile 5.0 and as yet is still unavilable with GPS for Symbian enabled phones.

I await the release of a Symbian GPS version. :)

  • that's so cool

  • Ok, now this is nifty, Sometimes I forget to print off my google maps when I head up to a concert, now if I forget I am still good :)

  • thats cool - it works also for my country
