I think somebdy might have mentioned this but Silvervision probably dont even decide whats on most of the covers, thats why the majority of US covers are the same as European covers (except for OMG 50 greatest moments cover which was changed because european markets thought it was too graphic), i imagine its up to wwe marketing.
Dont be too hard man, Silvervision are cool, how about that new dvd they're gonna release, WWE Annual 2011, 19 hours of wrestling for £18....thats pretty cool.

With regards to the dvd covers though, most people who buy wwe dvds probably have an idea of the results anyway, i doubt too many people who arent fans would buy them...

If somebody new to WWE were to go into a store and purchase their first PPV event on DVD, and have the event spoiled for them before they even buy the product, what are they going to think? It's a ridiculous idea. I'd say they should just use the PPV posters for the DVD covers like they used to, but even they suck now.
@BBFalconShot Okay i see your point, to be honest I have wondered the same thing myself a couple times but i guess it doesnt bother me too much. For example, Edge is on the cover of Survivor Series 2007 and isn't featured on the card, therefore, when he interfers in Takers match with Batista its not too much of a surprise.

this isnt silvervisions fault it's WWE's and there dseigners, make the covers all they do is sell the dvds in europe although yes i do agree spoiling ppvs are stupid but at the same time you should have seen them i suppose or by the time they came out should already know the result anyway
@Stevo88 Silvervision design all the cover art and contact WWE afterwards, asking if the cover art they've designed is okay. So, in hindsight ~ you're partly right.

If you buy a PPV DVD from years ago and maybe can't remember who won, why would you want it spoiled? I mean, considering you don't get much of the backstory to the match at hand then you only have the match to be hyped about and if that is spoiled for you, then you're only watching the match for technical aspects.
