  • I see when you roll your arm is the first to touch the ground...does it hurt when this happens..??

  • Whenever i try to drop off something and execute a roll, it hurts me, its not smooth, i usually end up hurting like, two inches and to the left of my back, (i roll on my left shoulder).. Can anyone help?

  • wtf 1:34

    cute butt by the way

  • يخوي طيزك مغطي الشاشه

  • @demondrills hey dude i love ur roll, it's perfect buti cant get my roll good and not hurting myself, plz help, plz plz, check my channel i have all my rolls there, and plz help me correct my mistakes and maybe send me a video on how to correct plz! ill subscirbe.

  • ok so yesterday i was jumping off a storage container and their was a gap also, i executed everything right except the roll. when i rolled i came down as i was rolling through, and hit my head on the concrete, im fine, but i dont know why i hit my head, and how can i execute the roll better

  • dude ur stupid in the first video u stoping at the end and at the seconed u stop at the way before it has nothing to do with the roll

  • I'm having problems with my roll. I roll over my left shoulder, and always seem to catch the left shoulder blade. So I'm not catching it on top, like most people are, but on the back, where the initial contact with the ground is made. Any helpful advice?

  • @Murfylaw as long as you dont feel any pain on your shoulder when you enter the roll make sure to exit the roll properly you will fine

  • When I'm rolling I can peform it well without hurting, but my knee touches the ground slightly. I looked on other tutorials (and this one) and their knee never touched the ground, so I tried doing it without, but it hurts my shoulders. How can I prevent this?

  • "Attention to detail is what can seperate good and great" is a really awesome quote.

  • Hi, just a question with the way I'm rolling. I roll onto my right shoulder and exit from my left hip/side. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but when I land the roll/exit from the roll my left small toe (lateral side) hits the ground pretty hard. How do I avoid this? Am I suppose to curl my toes more up (flex) or be extending my feet forwards/pointing the toes? Or doing something with my hips? Thanks

  • When i was doing my rolls months ago, i watched this vid, right afte I made a 1 month goofy vid, and then i went and watched all my vid and analysed my rolls, I was like "son of a bitch, i suck." but now everytime i roll i make sure i do it this way, the way i used to roll i noticed i always had to fight to get my balance before i ran again. Demon has a lot of rep and i respect him, so i'll follow his every move, Keep on rocking us!

  • What if you have no way of finding buildings like this in a walking distance? I don't live in the urban area and probably most people who want to do parkour don't either. So what do I do?

  • Why do you need buildings to practice this drill? Just go find a grassy field.

  • Well what kind of stuff can I do on grassy fields I mean? Most videos I see uses some kind of urban setting. Can't really do a cat leap on just plain grass.

  • grassy fields are for landing and rolling, also good for practicing wall movement like wall flip. If you want to do cat leap, GO AND FIND A WALL

  • look around and wat do you see.....exactly grass......look beyond that man most things about pk can be learned by being on flatland frm precision jumping to vaults. I know theres some sort of woods or playground near you dude utilize it.

  • @Sylar000000 You can actually. You would be surprised by all the things you can practice on grass. I do all my stretching, warm ups, I practice rolls, balance exercises, and even some vault type exercises

  • @Sylar000000 WRONG

  • @Sylar000000 yo..i kinda have this problem..most of the good parkour spots in my area are too populated or private property...make do with what you find.train hard.and when you can get to more parkour-able terrain ull be ready for it.

  • @Sylar000000 i live in a small suburban town..check out my parkour vids..im not that good u might get some ideas from it.

  • nice video ,thanks. :) :)

  • thx

  • this anallys is really helpful! thx!

  • Thanks for this great analysis, i didn't realize the difference before!

  • Thanks a bunch for this vid. God doing a roll is hard!! I keep going into the roll to hard. X_X

  • the only problem i have with roll is that if i do it onn something hard... like concrete my shoulder hurts

  • not sure if you'll see this or if you've worked it out already. but you want to have a tiny bit of pop when your feet hit the ground. so that you have a bit of vertical displacement. cause you want to land on the meaty part of shoulder, around the blade. and make your way to the hip on the opposite side. if you're doing that already, then just practice it. cause your body will grow muscle there the more exposure it gets. just takes time

  • That was in response to "inufreaknow".

  • Sorry I meant to say I enjoy doing those and it's easy for me because I take martial arts, so I've had training.

Didn't mean to bash on anyone.

  • First off they weren't dive rolls. Second, rolling in general will take a lifetime to perfect, and even then it won't be 100% there. Learn to respect other traceurs, and not to make such a fool to yourself.

  • LOL I roll the bad way according to this video... Look on my videos how I roll.. :(

  • nothing is bad,you get off faster with the roll he ment. after the roll you can gain more acceralation and run faster away

  • Personally.. I feel the second roll, if you figured out how not to clip your foot, is better. It puts you in a more in line position when coming out.(beneficial for speed and momentum shift, obviously) and reduces the fact that you have to swing your leg to the front... which can cause knee cartilage problems.

    My take on it.

  • Phat ass Sat and Smooth hair Ryan, dam, great vid haha!

  • Nice ass, Sat. And of course, a damn good pointer. I never even thought of that. I'll have to think about it next time I work on rolls.

  • Good stuff Ryan. A lot of people overlook this minute detail and often results in inefficiency and tripping when trying to continue.

  • the video helped and i became curious, what is the name of the song?

  • the song is actually Remember Me by Cunninlynguists. It says 93 til Infinity by Souls of Mischief in the credits but I goofed!

  • @DemonDrills I've just recently become interested in parkour, but have no idea where to start. What's your advice?

  • Nice.

  • Nice one :)
