I start with great hopes, then this terror comes to me and I end up either destroying my creations or quitting for fear. I know it may be obvious to some of you, but until now I could not explain this terror or even imagine others feel it. That's what is happening to me and the only thing I have to do is get used to the feeling. It literally changes the way I see my current problems.
I know the sensations so well, I teach arts, any kind of arts in private courses and many many times while talking to the students I keep thinking, god what are they doing here, can't they see I'm a fraud, I'm a na idiot I don't even know what I'm doing and they gonna figure it out, it's nice to know i'm not alone :)
It's funny you used the word "fraud" because that's what I feel like from time to time, because there's always someone in my field that knows more, or has more experience, and likes to point out flaws and ridicule. And it's good to remember to keep playing your own game and work with what you have. Thanks a lot brother! And hey, lemme know if you ever need any reno work done lol
Edward (sure hope you read these comments), you're such a great actor that it's hard to imagine you even have these doubts. I know when I see somebody who's so great at what they do it's hard to even imagine they feel the same fear, uncertainty and doubt as the rest of us. It's good to remember that even if you fail, you can learn from your mistakes. Everybody fails, that's part of why we should all strive to be better.
I like how this guy can say absolutely nothing and have a dislike bar the size of my faith in humanity.
