  • It is better to get a bill passed, and make adjustments to continuously optimize it according to what actually happens, then to spend the next decade in a debate that is partially fueled by political posturing, ideology and fear. The status quo is much worse. Sometimes it's better to jump off the burning platform even if the ocean is cold and shark-infested. Why? Because a definite disaster is less preferred then a potential one.

  • i say start over and make the bill smaller and less confusing.

  • private health insurance is fine as long as they don't keep raising monthly rates for no damn reason. not sure what needs to be done about that, shit i pay 85$ a month and i get a letter saying that next year it's 95$

WHERE DID U GET THAT UPSIDE DOWN MAP PLZ TELL ME!!!!

  • I already told you mang, check your channel comments...

  • I don't see why it's so difficult to change your health care. Lots of other countries have done it. Just pick one and copy it.

  • @cavejourney not so easy in a country that so diverse and large.

  • astrolabe1976 - I respectfully don't buy that - Canada is geographically larger than the U.S. and most western nations are equally diverse. I think what is holding back the U.S. is the greed and lack of education.

  • i meant large population wise, not geographically. if you look at American politics right now, you see how its impossible to get most anything done.

And I agree with you, greed and lack of education has a big part to deal with it also

  • Cavejourney, I'm not sure there is any nation in the world as diverse as the USA. But I don't really think that's the issue. I think you're right about the lack of education. Plus the media does a terrible job at cutting through the bull for people. But yes, Canada does it well.

  • You're wrong about the diversity issue. About 10 years ago the United Nations listed Toronto as the world's most culturally diverse city. I'm not certain where it is now. Immigration to Europe has created a lot of diversity.

Have you traveled? Your idea that the U.S. is the most diverse goes along with the idea that the U.S. is #1 at everything. Travel would help you to understand that although the U.S. has many things to be proud of they are not always number one.

  • start over. the bill is crap now.
