A very foolish attempt of the English to claim that they had invented a joke which was responsible for the impossibility of the German troops to fight on the Western front; the truth is quite different: It was the entrance of the Americans in the war. When they landed the Germans first thought that they were under attack by manatees in uniforms, but they recognized the fat American rogues sweating themselves to death by trying to walk up the dunes of Normandy and exploded in roaring laugther.
