where is this course? Menomonie? what's it called? I have a buddy that goes to Stout. Maybe I can visit. its a couple hours from here, not back, that hole looks SICK, over a little valley covered with trees. wow, what an ace....i want to throw this
Nice shot. Ive hit the basket here but never aced it. Im very happy to see this video on here because this is actually one of my favorite disc golf courses of all time. Menomonie, WI. The Brickyard course which consists of lots of elevation changes and trees.
Funny. Jumpin' Joe, Lightning Lyle, Chuck K....but the guy who threw the ace...I can't remember HIS name! LOL. Great guys from MN. Lightning Lyle is actually the founder of our organization, The MFA ( Minnesota Frisbee Association ) Some of the greatest guys you'll meet gentlemen.
Weird, the first disc golf disc I ever bought was a yellow innova Cheetah with the name "Jumpin' Joe" written on the bottom. I met a man once at willow river state park disc golf course in Hudson, WI who said that it was him!
cool can I join? I live near winona, looking to move to the Cities area soon. My club here is decent, we just had a nice tourney for charity at Justin Trails in Sparta, WI. awesome course.
So most of your aces are over or near 300, but for some reason you just can't hit the ones closer than that? Maybe you should take lessons from the man on this video!
An ace is an ace. And when you have to weave it through trees and foliage, you should be happy if its 50 feet! If you don't get excited by it, you shouldn't be playing.
i agree totally. I've hit an ace at 180 thats much much harder to hit than the next hole, a 285. Weaving through tree's and having elevation changes is not easy, infact thats the hardest thing, just bombing a 300 footer in the open...well, to ACE ANY hole is huge, so, get excited and jump up and down...I do that if i make a 30-50 ft putt, thats STILL hard as hell....so an ace under 300 or 200, what does it matter, ACE
thats a great video man, although you cant see the ace, the reactions and audio are priceless. Theres nothing like the feeling of banging chains for the ace. Keep em coming.

why is it that some people get mad just because it's not them getting the ace. loosen up, dude. it was an ace. nice shot by the way.
abraves119 3 years ago
i have plenty myself thank you. most over or near 300 ft. not mad at all. i think sir, you should be the one to "loosen up".
NateD0gg255 3 years ago
i never said i didn't think you had any aces. if you don't think it was a nice shot, then shut up and go get a better ace for yourself.

Definately one of the signature holes of the course with a deep valley, yet short enough to ace which makes the feel factor quite dramatic

Where is this course located? It's good to see some other people playing on a course in the trees and not on manicured greens all the time...
