  • are the engines in these cars stock? or are they modified from the prodution 190e and e30M3?

  • i adore this 190 evo

  • i wonder how things will be next year when BMW returns next year this is my fav time tho really light cars lol

  • Was waren das noch für schöne Zeiten!!

  • 240grupp-aDOTse

  • AND the new cars (racing and "normal" streetused cars) are so unbelievable heavy, that is really mad..

a racing car is light and strong, heavy and overpowered cars are made in the usa, not germany. so, why build mercedes, bmw and audi cars, which ways more than 1600kg??

    come on, this is rubbish!

  • Engines !!!

No offence though 1600 kg's isnt really "heavy"

  • No man , you are talking rubbish.Everybody know that the USA have never build a "cars". The Germans and The Japans - they are building the best car ever ;) There is no better then this 2 nations.

  • @gogobmwe30 im from germany, and i love japanese cars, so don't think that i love american fat boy cars;)

i had driven a nissan skyline with 280hp (1550kg), a mercedes benz w201 (190) with 160hp (1250kg) and they are AWESOME! light and very very fast around corners, not just fast on a straight line;)

  • @gogobmwe30 youre right but italian cars are good too.specially for racing or english cars like aston martin or jaguar.the renault 5 turbo was awesome too.

  • the good ole days when racing was racing. Today race cars have so much computers it feels like driving a f**king dell lap top with wheels!

  • there were no losers between e30 BMW M3 and Mercedes 190E 2.5 16 Evo 2,both cars were and still are very AWESOME!

  • Yeah!!! But still the m3 is the most succesfull touring car ; )

  • Nope, my buddy owned a e30 325es and now I own a 190E 2.6 and those two cross brand rivals were dead even IMO.

  • I wish BMW still had a car in the DTM

  • I wish DTM were still cars, Period! Now, they are just front engines formula cars. I miss "stock body" racing.

  • what do you mean?

  • Up until about 1992-3, DTM car were still based on actual steel pressing coming off road cars (even though they were limited production editions, you could still get something similar off the dealership). Now, DTM cars are bespoke racing machine, that share little, if anything, with the production model they represent. It makes for dramatic looking cars, but I prefer a look closer to production, personally.

  • amen man

  • you could get an merc 190 amg evo for streets ,who look s like the merc from dtm

  • Yep absolutely! Im not very fond of the modern DTM cars. When they were closely based on their steel bodied road car counterparts it was the pinnacle of the sport. I remember back when the W202 E class started racing and I even knew then it was never going to be the same. Still a beautiful car to see but just not quite the same.

  • Exactly

DTM 1993 was the best. Already very expensive but really awsome cars.

  • I miss so much the homologation cars era !

  • Exactly what I think! DTM this days is not the same like in the 90's.

  • DTM ftw

  • I love these cars
