Most impressed by this so far, can't wait for part 2. The faces and green screen effects are outstanding.

Your narration adds to the charm as well. Love the way the Fat Controller simply says "What 'appened 'ere?" after he's completely lost his dignity and had his garden wrecked! :D

All I did was point out a single flaw, I didn't say I didnt enjoy the video, nor did I say the error was bad, I just said what I said as slight trivia.

Don't know why people are rating your apology down (I've thumbed it back up one from a -2). Personally, I prefer constructive comments myself - makes for far better reading than simply "kool vid, man" or indeed "wtf?!" as seen further up the page.

Make a video which causes comment!

Use a style (look) which is interesting.

Use a good story and match the visuals to the story.

Have surprises in the story and use a ending which invites another episode.

If you made a carpet Thomas which was shot really simply that has a really good story it will be a winner.

@simierski Agreed ;comment voting is a fickle tool. A long time ago it seemed to have a purpose but now people are literally using it to drown out opinions; I thought youtube was supposed to be a site of free speech :I. A lot of people don't even take time to check facts before they go and vote on something, it's disgraceful if it wasn't for you and Leo this video wouldn't have this many views so those ungrateful voters better show you respect.

This video would have found good views in time, all we did by featuring it was reveal it to a wider audience quickly.

It is really important to make a impact in the first two weeks if you want a video to fly, most get buried within hours of being uploaded or withing a week.

As for the thumbs activity, thats sometimes is sending mesages to tubers, look at my comments below. If a comment gets a 6 thumb down I would take that as a serious warning about the comment.

Thumbs do have a place.

Well It really depends on who does the comment voting. I've noticed some people use multiple accounts to vote down people and vote themselves up etc. Fortunately in most cases it does have a place and most people don't sink as low as that :)

I think there are two sorts of thumb activity, one is the nasty tuber who thinks its fun, the other is tubers pulling a out of line comment where it belongs.
