hey, IOSAndOSX, i got a problem. Im using Word 08 on mac at the moment. And i dont know how to highlight my texts/words. It's so frustrating! Do u have and clue? There isnt any of tht bar, where the options for bold, italic texts or underlined txts are. And also the sizes of txts etc. I jst dont have tht whole bar. And it doesnt have tht highlighting text thing. plz help. plz reply asap. tytyty
Hey, you wrote the advanced iOS book right? I read most of the iOS 4 version, combined with manuals and other books, and now work as an iOS developer in Seattle. Wanted to say thanks for the awesome book. The iPhone documentation has way too many typos, but I read it nonetheless. Your book only has 2 typos, which really helped me when starting actually (the fact it had so few). Search for "fives" and "taping". Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for a great book. I made my roommate read it! :D
@feitingschatten1 hi there. Thanks for your feedback , I really appreciate it and I'm glad that you liked the book. I'm working full speed on iOS 5 Programming Cookbook at the moment and I will make sure I fix those issues that you pointed out.
@thebluepencilconcept yes, I've stopped using Word as well. It turns out this issue is to do with .docx files. So if I save the same file as .doc file in Word 2011, the issue will be fixed.

I still can't get toolbars at the top. it is just grey. i have to hide the toolbar and then show it again.
