My god, the music back then... I can't believe I used to buy the damn CDs (lol) - although some of the stuff I still actually listen to (b/c some of it WAS kinda good). I feel that Mandy during that time was the MOST bubblegum out of Brit, Christina, and Jessica. First album-wise, Britney's stuff was upbeat and dancy with a little Europop feel, while Christina (R&B, pop) and Jessica (pop & adult contemporary) had the big voices.
