basically it's bout a high school dilinquent boy who really has no idea what's he's gonna do after hi skool, but one day he meets another girl who changes his course of life forever. also, there's a side story that runs parallel along with the main plot and the two stories finally converge in Clannad After Story. that's basically all there is to it, and many other stories that come with it.
