No curfew up here at Yokota.

Also, no policy about drifting here. You can do as you like, there are over 10 good circuits within 2hrs of Yokota.

At Yokota, I'd head up to Okutama for touge racing. It wasn't exactly legal, but the police didn't mind it. Left alone til around 2 am, when they clear out all the racers.

@smezmerz OMG they still have that curfew bullshit at Kadena ?!?! Damn i was there in '06 when they started that crap. We used to just stay out all night racing, it didnt affect us too bad....and as for the no spectating crap, that was BS too cuz you could go to Nago circuit and watch the drag racing but not the drifting and the AF Reserve sponsors drifting o_0' ??? I didnt get it

Check out the gymkhana events they hold at the Bull Ring up towards Nago every month though,those were really fun!!

@smezmerz check out the local car magazine "Quick", they take pictures of all the race events and post stuff about them - you should be in the mag if you competed..i think i was in like 5 or 6...just pretty cool for when you come back to the states lol

Kadena (in Okinawa) has a "no drifting, no spectating, for Air Force members" policy.

At that time I was running GT2871R turbo on stock manifold since my stainless one had just cracked. Tomei 256IN 264EX cams, 1.2m HG, JIC coilovers 9kg FR, 7kg RR spring rates, Azenis ST115 tires. Kazz 1.5way LSD, Exedy Hypersingle clutch, and Apexi PowerFC for computer and boost.

While I recognize Ken block videos are impressive and it's good driving, but it's practiced dozens of times and footage is pieced together. It's a staged show.

The REAL Gymkhana we did in this video wasn't practiced or staged. We did it every month but the course layout was completely different each time. We got a few minutes to walk the course and that was it. Line up, and GO, work your magic and you might get best time!

u shulda put ur car in the import tuner. it had some other people on base. ur car was nicer than some of the ones they displayed. (there was an import tuner military issue) awhile back. wut kinda body kit did you put on? its hard to tell from the video. is it origin? vertex?

Thanks man. Yes, I see some AWD doing Gymkhana. In some cases, they have their own class, but the event we put on at the location in the video, they don't have a separate class, they enter in the C class, which is 2.0 liter and up class.
