I find it strange that anyone in the Abrahimic religions claims that they get their morals from books that contain such violence and hatred. Religion poisons.

The view point seems reasonable. However is not the full picture of correct christian teaching. In the begining God gave mankind authority over the earth. He wanted people to choose freely good or bad. Instead of looking at God and blaming him for all the crap going on maybe its a lot more our fault. Regardless of believing in God we can choose to make this world better.Its on our heads not Gods.
I think sin is doing what we know is wrong. If theres no choice theres no real love and can you really do good if theres no choice? Also perhaps when we choose disobey and sin we walk outside of what God wants for us..suffering. It seems he made a way to not suffer but we thought we knew better.

Some sects of Hinduism believe in polytheism, more then your one god, the Greeks and early Romans where polytheists, Pagans are polytheists. There is not just one creater, there are numerous gods created by man. And there is no historical proof Jesus ever existed.
It seems all the historians of the time accidentally seemed to of left out the man who could walk on water.....
You can't give me 1 solid, scientific reason to believe in your religion, and your God. You honestly think you are right, prove it. You can't, end story.
personally in my life i have seen and experienced more scientifically unexplainable things than I can remember. You'd have to bring a pretty crazy case to prove me wrong. Im far from the only one. Forget about which religeon. Ask the creator to reveal himself to you. However that looks...without having your mind made up to explain everything away.
