  • I am new to wiffle ball pitching but I really want to be able to throw these pitches. So... let me get this right. Basically, the ball will go generally the opposite way the holes are facing for a right handed pitcher? That is dependent on the pitchers grip and arm slot though. I have the most trouble with the arm slot. I naturally throw more side arm, it feels akward when i throw overhand. I have always been like this... even throwing a football I tend to side arm it.

  • You are right about the movement. I would say its alright if you naturally sidearm it. Though the slider and screwball may not be your pitches, you should be able to throw fine risers and drops with the sidearm release.

  • Okay... i am starting to be able to throw the curve overhanded but I have control issues! I tend to always throw about 10 inches to a foot over the zone and I don't think I am throwing it enough to the right to compensate for the break. I guess i need to throw at the batter?!?!?!

  • Check out the dude in the blue's wind up... he kicks his right leg back before he raises his landing foot. Compare it to the dude in the red. Nothing wrong just commenting that it looks different.

  • Thanks for the commentary. My bro (dude in blue) would be the first to say that he doesn't know what he's doing out there pitching. We were just having some fun wiffs. Thanks for leaving a rather unbiased comment.

  • i have this feeling that you will be posting videos w/ snow on the ground.

  • sounds about right...not like I have a giant warehouse or indoor wiffle facility to throw in...

  • this is true. but you do make good vids so i wont complain. it would also be hilarious for someone to post a video in the snow.

  • Haha thanks, it's actually snowing out right now, so i just might have to throw some wiff...

  • haha. that is straight up dedication.

  • Awesome pitching dude! Man, that riser at the end was unbelievable! Haha Next Rob Hoffman right there!

  • lol...dont go that far rob hoffman throws about 95 mph

  • true but still that last one had great movement and its almost completely overhand...im not saying hes as good as rob (no offense kevin) but thats definitely one of the better risers i've seen

  • Thanks man...and I think the riser at 3:50 was even better (even though it wasn't a strike)

  • haha thats exactly what i'm thinking...i don't think my riser broke 55...

  • Great movement Kev!
