  • I have always loved this song, you did a really good job with this, you have a very pleasing voice.

  • I love bluegrass and have been playing it for years. My Grandfather had a bluegrass band and I wanted to be in it so I taught myself to play the guitar. This was one of the first songs I learned.

  • Vassar Clemments' version is on a CD put out by Flying Fish records. I found it on Ebay. But now that I think about it, it was the Osborne Brothers' version I remember hearing. It was probably on a record or tape that included some selections by Vassar Clemments which may account for my confusion.

  • I have the Osbourne version and the booklet that came with it gives credit to Vassar for playing the fiddle.

  • That's it! That's why I connected Vassar Clemments' name to it! I never knew till tonight that it was actually the Osbornes that sang it!

  • Very nice! Great old standard! Have you ever heard Vassar Clement's version? It's one of my favorites.

  • No but I will see if I can find it and give it a listen.

  • It was the Osborne Brothers version I remember. There is apparently a recording of it by Vassar Clemments on Flying Fish Records, but I don't know if I've ever heard it, and I think it may be out of print. It must be that when I heard the Osborne Brothers version, it was on an album or tape that also included selection by Vassar Clemments.

  • For guitmartiman.
