I miss the old ray. Not just the old old ray, the ray we had in about, may 2011 and so on was fine. But ever since he got that crew behind the camera =3 started to suck a bit :/ I personally don't like the new YFM animation at all. I know how hard his editors work on it, but the animation from my balls to 8 bit world was awesome to me.
As for breakingLA, I also like his newer vlogs but now all of them.
I have a question. Why wasnt this SOPA and PIPA thing on the news? The only time I saw this on TV was the Debate a week or so ago on CNN and the News scroll on the today show. the only thing I can think of is it may cause mass panic but I dunno.

That "TROLL ME AND THUMBS DOWN" video was originally uploaded as "PANCAKE MIX" and people were genuinely angry at Ray for part of what he said in the video and were disliking and leaving negative comments! So he then did a cheap move and changed the title so it looked as though he got all those dislikes were because he asked it to be that way!
It was one of the most whorish moves done by him!!!
I prefer =3 when he did it in his room. Guess he sold out when Maker Studios came calling. I'd have done the same because regardless of who you are, you need to make a living out of something. And Ray makes a living out of this.

The one thing most people love about youtube is user created content, which was how Ray built up =3. But it isn't even his show anymore. He just shows up, reads the script, and gets tons of money.

While it is good that the bills were shutdown because they would limit freedom of the internet, there is absolutely nothing wrong with shutting down a website that was DEDICATED to hosting copyright infringing content. And the fact that they were able to get away with it because " we can't check what our users are uploading all the time" is exactly the kind of abuse of the freedom that gave SOPA a chance.

i don't think the video was bad. i think a few people in the beginning (when it first was posted it) were hardcore rwj fans and don't like seeing anyone else doing his show (I agree with them). then when people saw the dislike votes they were super critical of it making it get even more dislikes. just what i think happened.

I don´t think I laughed once at the =3 video, I feel like recent subscribers are just jumping on the bandwagon and being like yeah rwj most subscribed on youtube, soooooo funny/witty etc. but the fact is the jokes aren´t great anymore but my big problem is that the videos he´s reviewing aren´t of the quality they were say back in 2010. I watch them in hope that there will be something worthwhile.

Honestly for me, the moment =3 went downhill as when people started writing, directing (basically doing evrything) for him and he lost his awesome humour. I mean when's the last time he did 'Squaids' or 'The Troll', even the dancing kitty has been shelved. The one thing most people love about youtube is user created content, which was how Ray built up =3. But it isn't even his show anymore. He just shows up, reads the script, and gets tons of money.

I am kind of sad of how people responded to the shutdown of SOPA and pipa. While it is good that the bills were shutdown because they would limit freedom of the internet, there is absolutely nothing wrong with shutting down a website that was DEDICATED to hosting copyright infringing content. And the fact that they were able to get away with it because " we can't check what our users are uploading all the time" is exactly the kind of abuse of the freedom that gave SOPA a chance.

I guess they're funny in their way, but there's problaby two good reasons why they were bashed.
1. I'm not sure what they're type of humor was, but they don't do RWJ's type well at all. Like you said, it's like they have to use his humor, and it came out bland.
