  • nice to see so many films mentioned using this...its badass. (i came here cos of "the man from earth" movie....another one worth a watch :P

  • @orbojunglist I don't remember this song on the Man from earth, but one of the Best movie i have ever seen ("and i saw them all" ).

  • @roysooners

It's a composition. Songs have word, faggot.

  • @sixstringking6 Hm i'm talking about a movie, what the f..k are you talking about? Oh and, don't call someone faggot when you don't know what you are talking about.

  • @roysooners Faggot

  • Background music in the film - Knowing - Nicholas Cage - well worth viewing.

  • Zardoz

  • Stunning how it builds and releases energy. The good ole dactylic hexameter movement

  • Is there anything more perfect..?

  • Brilliance has spoken

  • excited to be playing this this year :D

  • The Fall. 'nuff said.

  • I knew this song through "Knowing" movie :D

  • @TravisNicholeSchafer, haha me too

  • @TravisNicholeSchafer I found it there in the Internet, and when I heard it, I... knowed... I had heard it somewhere before. Then I remembered that movie.

  • It's magic, and we can also feel the pain inside him... Just beautiful...

  • this is classical and just classic

  • Not a big fan of the tempo, but the robustness is definitely there.

  • This piece shows the solitude and heaviness of his brilliance, However, it is colored with moments of allegro and crescendos. It seems to me, in my humble opinion, to speak to every emotion. Magnificent!

  • @TheSykoh963 piece of shit

  • You can really hear Beethoven's sadness in this song, but it also has dashes of determination in it, too.

  • Comment removed

  • I think a dubstep remix of this would be cool

  • @TheSykoh963 shut your mouth

  • @TheSykoh963 Fucking trendy music.... I'd rather listen to this classical punk if you don't mind.

  • @TheSykoh963 No.

  • ludwiq van BEETHOVEN bravo!!!!!!!!!

  • prekrasne bravo!

  • Why is it that top viewed classical pieces are always terrible performances? If you want to hear a worthy performance, check Furtwangler's ... it's out of this world.

  • this song starts to suck after 2:30

  • i dunno whats more epic about beethoven. his music or his hair.

  • And how does something like Superbass - Nikki Minaj get like fifty million views!?

  • @DarcyYoshi because kids aren't educated... simple

  • @DarcyYoshi Because Nikki Minaj is 125 times better then Beethoven.

  • @idontfkinknow1234 Yeah, that must be it...

  • @DarcyYoshi Because quality and quantity are two different things.

  • @DarcyYoshi she got boobs and ass yo... *sigh*

  • Comment removed

  • @DarcyYoshi Nobody remembers the Nikki Minaj's of Beethoven's day either. :)

  • @TheAwakenedHeretic T>hats true. back in the fifties.. elvis wasnt the biggest, like people think today. There where other more popular stars, but he was better and thats why people only remember him. Just a comparison of history, nothing more. Of course elvis is nothing against beethoven.

  • @DarcyYoshi simple, because people these days are sheep and enjoy what their told to enjoy

  • @DarcyYoshi Longevity shows the true colors of quality and depth. Nikki Minaj will fade to anonymity in a few years. Yet we listen to Beethoven after 220 years. Depth always lasts.

  • @DarcyYoshi Disassociate from those fifty million people.

  • @DarcyYoshi Its simple, that is what marketing does. This is business, not art. Spend million bucks into promoting this Beethoven's piece, you'll get same results (except you would have to make the tempo faster and introduce modern drums)

  • @DarcyYoshi I refer you to the documentary 'Starsuckers'.

You could make a pickled egg a star. If they can market some prepubescent, symetrical faced, no talent, Canadian rent boy into something sellable then they could sell us anything. They even managed to make money by selling a CGI animated frog in an avaitors helmet with a winkie that rides an invisible motorcycle and repeats the mantra 'a ring ding ding ding ding' for no reason other than to piss you off.

  • @DarcyYoshi 221 million

  • even Rebecca Black that is the biggest sign that most people are stupid and just go with what people tell them is cool

  • @musicspeakstome64 Have you ever seen the amount of dislikes on her videos? I don't know where you live but nowhere where I've been is Rebecca Black cool.

What seems to be 'cool' is talking about Rebecca Black or Beiber on youtube videos that have nothing to do with them.

  • I love this! Love it! It says things that can't be put into words.

  • If only people created complex songs like these today.

I'd so be down to listen to a dubstep song that's as complex as this. Or even more.

If it's possible. I also don't mind listening to this piece. At all :3

  • @DerGalaxy They do in a way in Metal, like Good metal.

  • dam you school reports making me listen to classic T_T...sorry if i offend anyone who does like classic but its not my style :P

  • The Man from Earth!

  • Beethoven's 9th Symphony, all movements in one...

    youtube.com/watch?v=EmV35VPRT9s

  • Any one else hear this in The Fall and think it was frickin awesome?

  • It is also played in the movie "Knowing"

  • @krimmikrimmi1994

Dont you dare forget it played in the movie: "The Fall."

  • @HuskyLover811 I just watched that movie like 20 minutes ago!

  • @HuskyLover811 Yes, it played in a lot of movies.

  • @krimmikrimmi1994 . . .and the movie Zardoz starring Sean Connery.

  • @killanimalsforfun247 Oh yeah, and also in "The King's Speech"

  • i never thought id see petty youtube arguments on something like this haha

  • Beauitful!

  • The king's speech :)

  • 25 people were on their way to the orchestra but then took an arrow to the knee.

  • @YouPlayTwoHours ... What are you? Twelve?

  • fucking awesome...not to mention he was almost deaf when he wrote this...smh todays music is all fucking shit!!!

  • @crazybrain007 well said - i doubt anyone will be listening to Justin Beiber in 200 years.

Serena simplex! Tu intelleges? Peanuts sit amet risus. Good ave.

  • @ggorock is this wrote in Latin?? B/c I don't understand some of it if it's French.

  • @eightnotemusic ya its in latin

  • @ggorock bad latin... did you get this from Google Translate?

  • I heard it for the first time in the movie "The Man from Earth". Such brilliant movie and music!

  • Before I head this in The King's Speech I heard it in a strange Russian film at the art gallery. I found it slightly hypnotic.

  • he looks pissed in the picture lol. great song though.

  • One of the most poignant, soul wrenchingly beautiful pieces of music ever written.

  • King's speech?

  • @santiblf his majesty brought me here ^^

  • Charlie Brooker got me here.

  • I s-sincerelly t-th-think that th-this is a b-b-beautif-f-ful s-s-song

  • Prince of Heroic Music!

  • FINALLY. I HAVE FOUND YOU.

This piece has been circulating in my memory for years. It was in a PC game called Wargasm (the rest of the soundtrack is equally mesmerizing, as is the soundtrack to Return Fire). I've been hearing little segments of it over the years here and there but could never find the composer.

    Now I am complete.

  • this shit is crack!!!

  • I suppose this wouldn't have been as powerful if she'd caught a cab and got back alright

  • just thought i'd put this out there...this was a related video to scream - walking by myself....

  • Nothing out of place.

  • one of most amazing classical pieces of all times... but I prefer a bit slower performance than this one

  • good

  • @TheKumakatsu Good? That's all you can say? Good? Sir, I don't know if you heard the music here, but this is true talent. No one in the world will ever reach the level of Beethoven. No one will ever be more incredible. And most importantly: No one is more of an inspiration to me. So don't you go around saying that Beethoven is "Good". Go around, and to those who will listen, and tell them that Beethoven was a true master in music.

  • @bbqjt Masters come and go. To focus purely on one is madness.

  • @UniversalTruths Madness? THIS IS CLASSIC!!!!!

  • The King's Speech? I first heard this on Zardoz.

  • @PoisonToothX Did you know I own Zardoz? And Beethoven? And the internet?

  • @Aresftfun Hey man, that's pretty neat.

  • @PoisonToothX I know, right?

  • This is when music was music!

  • Love this. Its soo beautiful. One of the best beethoven

  • Wonderful!!!

  • What a beautiful song. So moving.

  • es hermoso y relajante...extremadamente bello

  • 25 people need to learn to appreciate the few beautiful things left on this planet. It makes me so happy to hear music like this.

  • this is my favorite "piece" (not song), and I'm 13. i think the music we have today is trash

  • fantastic

  • i just had a soul-gasm at 1:57....feels so awesome!!

  • @ngonsor double soul-gasm at 5:26

  • my favorite of him

  • Sometimes I walk around with a Webley pistol and a red speedo when I listen to this...

  • 25 people are deaf

  • @mkwluver Actually, when you're with the mouse in your hand, there's a little possibility you press something you don't want to. From 362223 viewers, the dislike has been pressed 25 times, wich is 0,0069 % from the views. so, no one has pressed 'dislike' wanting to do it.

  • not only an amazing master piece, but an amazing version!! love it!
