  • thanks and a big hug to everyone posting a nice comment or a kind word to show Marc your respect and love.We must be grateful we were blessed to have him once living among us ,even though it wasn't for as long as we would have wanted!

  • Tanx so much for posting all these videos , they are so awesome....xoxoxo Marc!!!!!

  • Thank you, Marc changed my life.

  • Love it, but it's not the uncensored version--he definitely says "T Rex nights."

  • @LinuxGeeksRock Indeed. This is a radio-friendly recording. The original lyrics state "cocaine nights," not "T Rex nights."

  • Steve Harley (from Cockney Rebel) sings backing vocals

  • A fitting tribute-song to Mr Sebastian Horsley ...who departed this world last week.

  • Nice picture of Bolan and Bowie,in clip.

  • Oh this is fabulous!! Simply WONDERFUL! Thank you SO much for uploading this! Thank you, thank you!!

  • I really love the strings in this version. Quite beautiful.

  • Thanks for answer on my comment.Song is exceptional relly. I gret.

  • This recording is simply beautiful.

  • I agree, hauntingly beautiful, particularly with the knowledge that it's an autobiographical song. So glad you enjoyed, and keep a little Marc in your heart! XXXXX

  • I'll never will forget his CELEBRATE SUMMER Song....

Each time spring turns to summer I recall and... it will last as long as I live.

  • I agree, one of my favorites. So sad in a way, "summer is heaven in '77"....Marc truly had a sense beyond our understanding. Tanx for the lovely comment! XXXXX

  • Music is interesting and catchy. But this is how Marc shocked and awed music and the reaction was alienation. He still did it first. Its the price you pay, for being origional. He is up there with all the punk groups that followed. Some clash and 80's The Cure, The Kill..many more.. Even lighter groups like the verve, bloc party and the stereophonics. None mainstream? All his little grandchildren that are known and loved.

  • Thank you Chante :)

  • Tanx to you, my friend! XXXXX

  • cool!

  • One of my favorites....beautiful and yet so sad. XXXX

  • I love the photo at 2:24

  • thanks this is one of my favs, there are a few that are special and this is one it just has that sound that only a few marc bolan songs have its magic and its now very old but still sounds the best the lyrics everything marc bolan noone comes close to his poetry

  • I totally agree.....nothing comes close to Marc's unique magic with words and sounds. What a genius.

  • Absolutely stunning.

    Fantastic.

    Sublime.

Thanks to CT for the share and top honours to Chanteleigh for the vid.

  • Tanx, Lee! This is one of my all-time favorite (and next to "Soul of My Suit") perhaps saddest Bolan songs. XXXXXX

  • yee haaaa... great version.. totally great with the strings!! Driving Drums

Totally brilliant Marc! Where, oh where is it from?? please? :) I have a vinyl copy buried in a box for the last 15 years and hearing this has made finally digging it out more urgent!!..been thrashing Cd mixes/versions .. this just took me back! This is Marcs real feeling and build for the song.. arguably his epitaph. hmm But just brilliant flick.. Glad I found it--Glad you created it Chante! ---TanX!

  • I love this song.....I think if I recall, I discovered it on an album of studio outtakes...I'll have to check to be sure. XXXXX

  • Simple...in a way...and yet so...beautiful

  • Well put, my friend. I love this version, but I think I enjoy his live performance of the song even more....brilliant. XXXXX
