  • These guys should have made it bigger, them and The Tea Party.

  • canadians are eh holes

  • sounds like "she's got the look" by Prince

  • fucking eh, u go mike !

  • that singer is a faggot straight up

  • @jay2rocks

how do you know for sure? You're just an asshole I think.

  • fucking eh! go bubs!

  • Bubs rocks

  • Awesome, that was just awesome. I still love Sandbox!!

  • the lead singer jus pisses me off for some reason, theres just somethin about him that makes me wanna smash his face. Im not tryin to be funny or a dickhead.

  • Haha I think the same thing. He's trying to act cooler than he really is. And he keeps looking up, as if it's some deep intellectual act. I would love to take a lead pipe to his head and split his head open like a melon, while saving that stupid goatee off of his stupid face.

  • @LookStillHere Hahaha i know dude, s js like hey singer dude....just fuck off

  • @fade2black232

you' re not trying to be, but you certainly are a dickhead! Let's see you get up there and sing.

  • Eata BigMeal.

  • Go Bubbles, GO!

  • I would pat lots of coin to see these guys just one more time. Best thing to ever come from atlantic Canada

  • with all due respect, that was a really long song.

  • @jarrodg70

and your point is.............Hey Jude is a long song, Stairway to Heaven is a long song etc. etc.

  • Pictou County NS forever!!

  • You know it man!

  • Gotta love Canadian music! If you like these guys, check out Tragically Hip, Matthew Good, Our Lady Peace, Tea Party, Killjoys, Big Wreck....the list goes on and on.

  • my moms bf works with bubbles dad

  • check out bubbles from trailer park boys band - sandbox

  • is there any of sandbox's songs that bubbles is the lead vocalist?

  • I think the guy who wrote this song was my eye doctor's son.

  • no there is not

  • Great band,Smith's riffs and Murray's vocals, too bad there's not more...

  • vocals sucks

  • A REALLY unique blend!

    Sounds like...

    Rush

    The Hip

    O.L.P.

ALL rolled into 1 big fatty!

  • On Trailer Park Boys they have

Rita McNeil and freinds and they hijack Rita's bus and make them Harvest all there pot plants and Bubbles says you know who the fuck these people are to Ricky and Ricky says there fuckin harvesters fuckin harvesters. Haha funny as fuck

  • You know, this was one of the best Canadian bands of the 90's... SO sad they broke up... SO weirded out about the Trailer Park boys thing.... and SO sad that their lead singer had ZERO stage presence. Cause he had a lovely voice and the cds were just... so wonderful. *sighs* I miss them :(

  • That was just the cool thing to do back in the 90s... (not have any stage pressence)

  • Ron Foley is my hero...hahahahaha!

  • mike smith/bubbles is awsome!!!!!!!!!

  • Holy shit! Bubbles with no glasses!!!!!!

  • does anyone know where i can hear more songs from them? i wanna find the music video for "here and there" great tune.

  • both of their cd's were solid from start to finnish!

  • RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRita!

  • Wow...looking back these guys weren't too bad! Atta boy Bubs!

  • wow, i find the young bubbles guy hot!!! oh my god saying that feels so wrong knowing how he looks now!!! noooooooo, that can't be the same guy, come on now??? daaaaaamn, gimme a time machine, i'll save ya mike smith ;)

  • no stage presence was the demise of sandbox. The band is boring on stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "no stage presence was the demise of sandbox. The band is boring on stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

yeah their not doin much on stage, but it doesnt really matter what the band is doin, its all about the music.

  • well I kinda does I mean thats what makes the diff between staying home playing the cd or going to see them live... the better the live show the more people want to see it all in all makes more fans.. But it dont matter I loved this band reminds me of being 14 again nothing lasts for ever less your the stones or kiss

  • yeah ill admit, stage performance is a big part of live music for sure, but when it all comes down to it, the music comes first....look at britney spears, she doesnt care bout the music shes doin...all she cares about is how good she looks on stage, how good her stage performance was, and how much money she is makin....most bands these days are in it for the passion of makin music, not the money, like sandbox...they just wanna perform/create great music

  • well A.talking to jessjack...-your from Minnesota dude, we wouldn't expect you to know what TPB is in the first place

B.talking to Tehnik-how do u not like classic Hip? and they r very well associated w the TPB

  • i'm reading the comments on all these Sandbox videos all about bubbles this and that...LOL until I started reading these tonight, I didn't even know he was in the band. It's really irrel. but a cool bit of trivia.

  • Whoa,I remember this song from when I was like 11 years old, insanity.

  • the dude singing is bubbles from trailer park boys?

  • Mike Smith (Bubbles) is the guitar player.

  • clintrock where do you live that "Curious" still gets airplay? I live in Toronto and I haven't heard it on the radio in years. We have sooo many good bands and musicians in Canada; why do radio stations play the same old, same old by OLP, the Hip, Avril (ugh), etc. over and over again?

  • I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia and I hear Curious on Q104 at least once a week....love it

  • are you kidding me you dont like the hip? what the fucks wrong with you dude

  • I'm from Minnesota. I've never heard of Sandbox before watching TPB. Are they popular in Canada?

  • They've been broken up for a long time. The song "Curious" still gets heavy play on radio stations. Mostly due to the Canadian Content law we have for radio. It's a good song though. You want good Canadian bands there are many. Some that you MAY have heard of would be Our Lady Peace or Tragically Hip. Those are sorta old hat now, a good ol Canadian Standard. There is a strong music scene in Canada so there is a lot that you probably never heard of, & no I don't mean Honeymoon Suite or Loverboy .

  • Theyve gained popularity since everyone figured out Bubbles is Mike Smith who is the guitar player.

  • BUBBLES!!!!!

  • Still one the best bands to come from Canada!

    Love em!

  • seriously?

  • sounds just like my mates band from school! silica!!awesome!

  • they are good , sound quality is lacking but highly appreciated ! thank you whomever put this up. its rare....

  • I can't wrap my head around Rita Mcneil being a 'friend' of Sandbox.

    Or Vice Versa.

  • I know. It always cracked me up to see all these great Canadian bands at that time on her show. The Killjoys, Junkhouse, Headstones, The Watchmen etc... I just can't see Hugh Dillon or Tom Wilson hanging out with Rita McNeil.

  • @oddsfan25 Now that would be awesome....to see them all hangin' out with Rita! Or maybe a guest spot....Rita singing with the Headstones!

  • @oddsfan25 Goes to show you the state of things for authentic original Canadian rock bands trying to get a start.

  • @oddsfan25 Goes to show you the state of things for authentic original Canadian rock bands trying to get a start. Except Nickelback. They must have sucked tons of corporate cock to get off the ground.

  • @explodingpuppy Nickelback sucks corporate dick every time they make a song.

  • Yeah. His face isn't hidden behind gigantic fishbowl glasses. Sounds good, except that lead singer's pretty annoying.

  • THE lead singer is actually anne murrays nephew who is alegendary candian musician

  • wow,, mike smith sure looks different than his well known "Bubbles" character on the trailer park boys,, its weird seeing him in a normal setting ,, lol, and the guy can actually play the guitar!

  • Great song. I remember hearing it on 102.1 CFNY back in the 90s.

  • You MUST be from WNY! I remember CFNY...best station that Buffalo EVER had!

  • i wonder what ever happened to these guys, haha this is great, all these 90s bands i forgot about!
